Types of Eggs and Where to Find Them

Bunny Day introduces a new type of material: Eggs!  Eggs are hidden all over the island in a variety of locations, and can be used to craft exclusive Bunny Day furniture!

Oh?  You mean the 6 Chaos Egg-meralds?

Wood Egg

These are found by chopping down trees.  Use a stone axe to avoid chopping down the nice sakura trees permanently.

Leaf Egg

Certain hardwood trees will have Leaf Eggs on them. Shake them down to harvest them like fruit!

Like fruit, eggs can also be eaten.  They're an egg-cellent source of protein, not that nutrition does much in Animal Crossing...

Sky Egg

Look for the Bunny Day themed pastel tie-dye balloons in the sky, which will appear more frequently.  Do notice these contain either sky eggs or recipes.  Always have a slingshot on-hand!

Keep your eyes in the skies!

Water Egg

Water Eggs will occasionally come up instead of fish whenever you go fishing.  We're not entirely sure about the chances, but they are decently common.

What, you egg?

Stone Egg

Just like getting Iron, Stone Eggs will pop out when hitting rocks.  Make sure to dig two holes or have something blocking you in order to get as much from the rock as possible.  Also make sure to not eat fruit before hitting the rocks, or they will break.

Unfortunately (or fortunately), these Stone Eggs will not spawn a Monkey King.  On the bright side, eating them won't break your teeth.

Ground Egg

Instead of finding fossils, during the Bunny Day event you might find a Ground Egg instead!  Just keep digging in the diggable spots.

You, too, can be smug when pulling an egg out of the ground.
