Kjera

"Shhh... Doctor, I snuck here with Enya. You can't tell Encia or the others from Karlan, otherwise, she'd be in trouble."

-------------

"Enya, you're not... kicking me out, are you?"

"..."

"Come on, don't glare at me. You want me to find out more about this company, and that Doctor?"

"It's not just for me, it's for you too."

"..."

"Whether it's me or you, we both should see what it's like beyond the mountains, don't we?"

"I understand."

-------------

Kjera is a 5★ Mech-Accord Caster (former Archetype name Drone Caster). Her kit is very similar to Click, the only other Mech-Accord Caster released to date, except she inflicts the Cold status debuff instead of Stuns.

First Impressions

Note: These are first impressions and based on conjecture since we don’t know the exact details.

Kjera is only the second Mech-Accord Caster (formerly named Drone Caster) released to date, and the first of her rarity.  Her kit is very similar to Click, the first and only Mech-Accord Caster we've seen so far.  This Archetype is characterized by a drone that accompanies them in battle and attacks separately.  The drone increases its damage if it continuously attacks the same enemy, up to a maximum.

It looks like Kjera's kit will be nearly identical to Click's, with a few small differences.  Both have a generic ATK increase skill for S1, and it is hard to imagine why anyone would want to use it over their S2.  Click's S2 increases her range and ATK, releases the drone to focus on the current target until it dies or the skill ends, and gives both Click and the drone a chance to Stun enemies.  Kjera's S2 looks like it will be extremely similar, except for the following notable differences: her range doesn't increase, an extra Drone will be released, and the status debuff is Cold instead of Stun.

Click is a very good Operator, especially for her rarity, because of high damage potential, the ability to focus-fire dangerous targets, and for the extra control utility she brings.  She competes well versus higher rarity ST Casters, and is often a better choice, especially in the early-mid game where her cheaper development cost is more significant.  Since Kjera appears to be so similar to Click, it seems reasonable that she will share similar advantages, and be a "strong for her rarity" type of Operator.

One question will be how well the Cold debuff from an Operator applies in practice.  Kjera will be the first Operator that can apply this debuff to enemies.  One of Click's strengths is applying the very useful Stun status, so Kjera's strength will depend heavily on the usefulness of Cold.
