Should You Pull?

Only if you really want Suzuran.

Suzuran is a 6★ Slower Supporter, so she may seem like she is competing with the extremely popular Angelina, but they provide very different utility outside of Slowing. Angelina has much higher personal DPS potential; Suzuran's strength is in increasing the damage of the OTHER Operators through her very strong Fragile debuff. In fact, Suzuran is one of the premier debuffers in the game, which tends to be more useful in harder content and when surrounded by stronger allies.

Veteran players that are focused on end-game and already have a strong roster have more to gain from adding Suzuran to their ranks, and should consider the banner more strongly. New players still tackling earlier content with limited rosters will find she has less impact on their game, and are probably better off saving for more directly impactful units.

Anyone following these articles recently will already know that a very strong Limited banner will be coming soon, so ALL players that are interested in that Limited unit should not pull on any other banner unless they already have enough to guarantee her.

As with other banners, a 5★ or higher Operator is guaranteed in the first 10 rolls. Should you pull just for that? No. Ayerscarpe and Nightmare can be situationally useful, but they are definitely not game-changers. If you’re pulling on this banner, it should probably be for Suzuran.

Quick Overview

Slower Supporter

+ Talent charges [Per Second] SP for other Supporter allies

+ E2 Talent inflicts Fragile (take increased damage) on enemies who are in her attack range and inflicted with Slow

+ S2 is a great multi-target Slowing ability and also does decent DPS

+ S3 covers a huge range, Slows all enemies within it (triggering E2 Talent), AND increases the strength of her Fragile debuff, resulting in a huge potential DPS increase for the rest of the team.  This skill makes her one of the premier debuffers in the game.

+ S3 also grants HP Regen to all allies within range, providing strong bonus healing and restoring HP to many Operators who cannot otherwise be healed

- Most of her power comes from amplifying the DPS of her allies, but she can’t actually do this until she gets E2’d (Fragile debuff is on her E2 Talent and her S3); before E2, all she really does is Slow enemies

- S1 triggers automatically and S2 has a relatively long charge time (though her own Talent shortens it)

Ranged Guard

+ Talent increases the ASPD of nearby allies

+ A melee Physical attacker who can do Arts damage to multiple targets with his Skills, which can be useful in some situations

+ S1 is a relatively rare melee Slow option and is multi-target

+ S2: high DPS if many enemies are being blocked within skill range.

- S2 requires enemies to be blocked to be dealt bonus damage, but heavy blocking strategies are not common in the current meta, especially for high-level content

- Faces stiff competition from other members of his archetype, i.e., Lappland and Arene

ST Caster

+ Surprisingly durable when equipped with her S1; she gets Physical and Arts Dodge from her Talent and can heal herself when S1 is active

+ Can heal multiple allies within her attack range using her S1 (useful versatility for Challenges)

+ S2 inflicts the unique Nightmare debuff, which reduces enemy movement speed and stacks with effects like Slow -- perfect for Slow-centric or 0-Block strategies

= The Nightmare debuff inflicts True damage on its victims based on how far they move; however, since the debuff also reduces movement speed, enemies don’t move as far while it’s active

- Niche abilities; rarely useful for completing a stage or better than using Operators specialized for the role

- Requires substantial investment to reach her full potential, which is asking a lot for such a niche Operator

- S1: Long cooldown and low overall uptime.

- S2: Auto activation really hurts a skill that is so dependent on good use-timing to be effective.

Mech-Accord Caster

+ Has faster ASPD than ST Casters (and gets even more from her Talent)

+ Her S2 causes her Drone to “lock on” to her target and follow it for the duration of the S2, attacking the entire time.  Great for tough enemies that leave Click’s attack range!

+ S2 gives Click and her drone each a chance to Stun with their attacks, allowing her to Stun-lock targets

= Her damage is split across two attacks (Click’s attack and the Drone’s attack)

- Low base ATK and has to attack the same target several times to ramp up her drone damage

Suzuran

char_358_lisa_2

With her frilly outfits and adorable hairstyle, Suzuran looks like she walked straight out of Cardcaptor Sakura. This is entirely appropriate, because she’s ready to catch you all of her enemies with her Slowing powers so they can be sent back where they belong! Combining wide-range, long-duration Slows and a debilitating Fragile effect into one adorable package, Suzuran is a top-tier utility Operator who’s ready to open the door to victory for her friends and allies.

Ayerscarpe

char_294_ayer_2

Ayerscarpe may look distant and foreboding at a glance, but he’s actually a big believer in teamwork. Not only has he worked with fellow Operator Leonhardt for years, but he uses his Talent to buff the ASPD of nearby allies and his S2 to electrocute enemies that his allies are Blocking. Who would have expected this grim-faced rabbit would be so attached to his friends?

Nightmare

char_164_nightm_2

Nightmare’s personality is torn between the mild-mannered Gloria and the militant Nightmare, and this has created a similar dichotomy in her Arts. With her Skill 1, Gloria’s Arts can both strike enemies and recover HP to allies. With her Skill 2, Nightmare’s attacks can inflict a unique debuff that reduces enemy movement speed and deals True damage as they attempt to escape her wrath.

Click

ClickE2

Click has become used to being around dangerous situations due to her hobby of going out into the Catastrophe-ridden world to film home movies. Her faithful Drone is always around to help get her out of trouble, and it’s ready to help her on the battlefield as well, locking onto her enemies and zapping them with Stun-inflicting laser bursts no matter where they try to run!
