Introduction

As part of the Stultifera Navis event coming this November, a new anniversary pack will be added to the store for 4 weeks. For $29.99, this pack contains one Ten-roll Headhunting Permit and, most importantly, a 6★ Selector Ticket, containing all non-Limited 6★ Operators up to Fartooth.

This tier list presents which Operators will provide the most bang for your buck if you decide to buy the pack. Remember that Operators are not ordered within tiers.

6★ Selector Tier List

EX

The Operator in this tier is in the same powerlevel bracket as the Operators in the next one, with the important difference that she will not be showing up in the Distinction Store anytime soon. Other than this, consider this tier an addendum on the next one.

Kal'tsit

Kal’tsit is probably the most versatile 6★ in the entire game, with incredible tools for holding lanes or nuking bosses with un-dodgeable True damage. Mon3tr is a massive statstick with incredibly powerful abilities that make Kal’tsit one of the most powerful Operators out there for all kinds of content.

S+

Operators in this tier have extremely powerful and versatile toolkits that let them shine in regular content and scale very well into higher, more endgame content. These Operators are strong enough at their niches to be practically irreplaceable by any other.

Surtr

There's no denying that Surtr is one of the strongest Operators in the game. Thanks to her incredibly powerful burst DPS and undying capabilities, Surtr has been a staple of endgame content ever since her release, and for players not that interested in high-risk Contingency Contract she's also one of the best choices for boss-killing, an excellent panic button and even a really good stage opener.

Bagpipe

Few Operators can say they have revolutionized the entire meta of their archetype, but Bagpipe sure is one of them. Thanks to her incredibly powerful Talent, Bagpipe has remained a staple of most endgame content ever since her release, and her strong Skills ensure she will still perform really well when deployed instead of just warming benches with her Talent. Even after the introduction of the new, very powerful Agent Vanguard archetype that doesn’t benefit much from Bagpipe, her usage has not dropped at all.

Mudrock

Despite her status as a Defender, Mudrock’s kit is loaded with just as many powerful DPS options as survivability-oriented ones. She would already be a top-tier Operator if she only had her infinitely regenerating, healing and damage negating Shields, but her Skills also allow her to either hold lanes like no other Operator, or burst down more threatening enemies with little worry for her own safety.

Thorns

Thorns does one thing and one thing only, but damn if he doesn’t do it well. Despite being a complete one trick pony, no Operator in the game can claim they hold lanes like Thorns does. Be it because they can’t hit aerial enemies, because they don’t share his ridiculous range or because they don’t have his very high Average DPS, other laneholders simply cannot hold a candle to Thorns in terms of sheer versatility.

S

If you already have all the Operators in the previous tiers, any of these are bound to have the biggest impact in your account. The Operators in this tier are still very powerful and versatile, even if not as meta-defining as the ones in S+, and are always worth considering to make your team significantly stronger.

SilverAsh

SilverAsh has been a staple of the metagame for almost as long as Arknights has existed, and it shouldn't be difficult to see why. His incredibly powerful, massive-ranged Burst DPS is almost unmatched in terms of sheer power, and can tear through single bosses, large waves of enemies and even aerial or stealthed foes like a hot knife through butter. Even if he will have to face some stiff competition from Młynar in a few months, SilverAsh will still remain one of the prime DPS options and not just hang onto his strong support Talents for relevancy.

Mountain

Most people prefer to use Mountain as a laneholder, and that's because he excels at it. Due to his incredibly low deployment cost and fast-to-activate laneholding Skill, which has infinite duration. Mountain can very easily hold off lanes from beginning to end, packing powerful multi-target attacks and an insane regen very few Operators can hope to match. That is definitely not all he can do, though, as he can also choose to deliver some incredibly high burst damage all around himself.

Nightingale

Despite being neither a DPS nor a DPS Support Operator, Nightingale is still able to trivialize a huge amount of stages with her incredibly powerful Arts mitigation and aggro control. She alone can turn Arts-heavy stages into complete non-issues simply by existing in the general vicinity of your other Operators, and as the difficulty goes up in newer stages and events, so do her use cases. If you are already covered in all your DPS needs, Nightingale will provide some incredible support that will make hard stages much, much easier.

Eyjafjalla

Even if we have recently not seen much of her in endgame content, and even if she has some very stiff competition within her class, Eyjafjalla still remains one of the most powerful Arts DPS Operators in the game. Packing both insane, huge range bursts of multitarget damage and options for more consistent (but still strong!) Arts damage, Eyjafjalla is very powerful in all sorts of content. Nevertheless, consider choosing a different option if you already have Goldenglow in your party, as their roles may overlap a little too much for you to benefit from having both.

S-

Operators in this tier are still powerhouses, but either nor as versatile or powerful in their specific roles as the ones in higher tiers, or are actually best used as powerful supports for those Operators. If you have most or all the Operators in the higher tiers, these will provide a significant boost to their performance or open new ways to handle stages.

Suzuran

For many people, Suzuran is the prime example of a DPS booster, and it's not difficult to see why. She can conjure a massive area around her that does practically everything you could want from a support skill: it regenerates HP, it slows down enemies, and it inflicts a massive Weakening effect of 40%, boosting all damage. The nature of Suzuran's skillset makes her a perfect partner to any burst damage composition, regardless of the type of damage or the Skill itself.

Saria

Saria is an incredibly versatile Operator with a skillset that lets her choose between powerful healing abilities to keep both herself and her surrounding allies alive, or huge Arts burst damage support in a massive area around herself. All of this is coupled with some decent SP support you can take advantage of through her healing, which ties Saria’s kit nicely into one of the better, more versatile support Operators in the game.

Phantom

Phantom is the prime assassination Operator for taking away priority threats before they can reach your main squad. Thanks to his archetype, he can very quickly deliver high damage to enemies almost anywhere in the battlefield and be ready to do so again and again in short intervals of time, making him very powerful even if he does struggle against tankier enemies. While not the most important part of his kit, Phantom also has some niche with his pushing and crowd control, and it can be a very powerful tool for harder content where on-demand pushing and crowd control at this scale is otherwise not a thing.

Exusiai

No matter how much time has passed, Exusiai remains the queen of burst physical DPS update after update, with incredibly powerful attacks that can melt down most enemies in a matter of seconds. Despite struggling against high defense enemies, the plethora of offensive support that she benefits from helps her overcome this issue and reign supreme in this aspect still, as those supports combine better with Exusiai than with any other Operator in the entire game, and by a long shot.

Ifrit

Despite her unconventional range, Ifrit is still an incredible powerhouse able to deliver very high, constant AoE damage even to multiple lanes at once through her very long range, or switch to a powerful blast of burst DPS that shreds enemy Arts Resistance like no other Operator in the game can, making even the toughest enemies melt to her DPS and, in the few cases they don’t, leaves them way more vulnerable to other sources of Arts burst from other top-tiers.

Saileach

Much like both other Operators in her archetype, Saileach is a force to be reckoned with. Not only can she generate ludicrous amounts of DP extremely quickly, but she also has some really good role compression in her kit, which keeps her an active tool during entire stages way past when DP generation is an issue. Saileach brings both defensive support in the form of strong regeneration and good offensive support through short but powerful applications of the Weakening effect, even if not as strong as other sources.

A

Operators in this tier may be worth selecting for already well-developed rosters that want to expand on more technical or niche strategies. These Operators still have plenty of strengths, but perform better within already strong squads and aren’t fit to be the backbone of a roster.

Passenger

Thanks to all the buffs he’s received since his release, Passenger is now a very competent Operator with a nice mixture of quick Arts burst and Slow infliction. While not as versatile as Eyjafjalla or Goldenglow, Passenger can still carve a niche for himself with his ability to keep multiple enemies in check from almost anywhere in the battlefield thanks to his Skills with huge range.

Schwarz

Schwarz remains a very powerful boss killer thanks to her strong multiplier, crit bonuses and res shreds. She can easily take chunks off any enemy’s HP no matter how tough they are, and her unconventional on-Skill range allows her to take down priority targets while remaining safe well outside their range. Before selecting Schwarz keep in mind that Pozyomka, an upcoming Operator, will usually outperform her thanks to her incredible ability to control entire maps..

Blaze

While no longer the poster child for laneholding after the release of other strong options such as Thorns, Mountain or Kal’tsit, Blaze still has some unique qualities that make her quite strong. The extra on-skill range lets her very safely take care of targets blocked by a Defender in front of her, while the Attack boost lets chip away at sturdier enemies somewhat effectively. She can also very easily take care of multiple enemies at once this way thanks to her archetype.

Aak

As one of the most powerful offensive buffers in the entire game, Aak’s entire role hangs on latching onto a very powerful Burst DPS Operator (such as Surtr or SilverAsh) and pump them full of incredibly powerful offensive buffs to increase their Burst DPS massively. Aak is more fit for developed rosters and experienced players that will understand how to deal with his very picky positioning issues, self HP loss and his Skills damaging allied Operators, but if you can deal with all his gimmicks and have a viable target for his buffs he’s sure to boost your roster to the next level.

Archetto

Despite lacking the raw DPS of other top-tier Operators of her archetype, Archetto still packs a punch with a well-rounded skillset that lets her take on hordes of enemies through attacks that ricochet or that target multiple foes at once. Archetto is a great generalist option that works almost anywhere so long as she isn’t forced to face high Defense enemies constantly.

Saga

While the general meta doesn’t have much use for this Vanguard archetype, Saga still manages to be a pretty decent option by mixing some early laneholding with strong, multi-target damage and even some SP support through her cripple status that helps other top tier laneholders get going much quicker. Reconsider if you already have Flametail or if you are okay with just using Texas for the time being, as some other Operator on this tier might be more impactful for you.

Weedy

Given the right circumstances, Weedy can be an incredibly strong Operator thanks to her unmatched Force 4 pushes, her pushing deployable or even her non-stop pushes depending on the Skill. Be it permanently stalling enemies away from herself, chucking enemies into bottomless holes or simply bursting foes with her True damage, Weedy is very map-dependent but absolutely shines when the conditions are right.

Fartooth

With her infinite range gimmick and powerful attacks, Fartooth acts as a side-grade to Schwarz by trading some raw burst potential with better positioning control and a handy dodge ignore ability that eases the pressure against many bosses on recent events. The same caveat applies as with Schwarz, though, as Pozyomka is too strong of a competitor if you decide to pull for her, carrying even better map control and copying the dodge ignore as well.

Pallas

Be it because you want a decent buffer or a very consistent laneholder, Pallas can fulfill a variety of roles that make her decently powerful in any kind of squad, with one of the most powerful powerstrike-adjacent Skills and a surprising effectiveness against Big Sad Lock, one of the biggest roadbumps for all players. Regardless, keep in mind that her laneholding capabilities are very subpar when compared to top tiers such as Thorns, Mountain or Mudrock, so reconsider if you already have those roles covered.

B

Operators in this tier are still very powerful, but often have very small or rarely applicable niches that keep them from being a very smart purchase. These Operators can still shine in very specific content that caters to their niche strengths, but their times in the spotlight will be few and far between as other Operators in the tiers above will often be able to replace them with ease. It might be worth reconsidering purchasing this pack if your pick of choice is in this tier.

C

Operators in this tier are very often severely outclassed by their peers on the tiers above, or even by lower rarity Operators. The use cases of these Operators are incredibly limited and practically require a stage and squad built for them in order to achieve what others can do with ease, be it because of their lack of versatility, weak niche or generally poor performance against what the game demands. I would advise against purchasing this pack if your pick of choice is in this tier.
