The main challenges are as follows:

  • Lots of Drones and snipers!  Kill them before they kill us.
  • Bombtails: Especially when buffed, their Bombs hurt! They hit allies in the tiles surrounding the initial target.  Best way to handle them is to soak them.
  • Ranged grids are in the middle, so Ranged Operators need to be pointed either towards the oncoming enemies, or towards our base.
  • melee enemies are a combination of Slugs and Loggers, the former come in numbers and the latter hit hard

These are the Contracts I chose:

DailyContracts4
  • The "No melee" and Risk 3 "Smaller Team" increase development requirements quite a bit.
  • The Fast Enemies along with Lower DPS mean slowing isn't an option, so we need to get blockers in place while still keeping the DPS up.  Stronger bombtails and crossbowmen mean we need to be smart about placement to protect our squishes, and make sure we can take out or soak the bombtails.

Recommended Team Composition

  • 2 Skill-DP-Recovery Vanguards, V1 and V2.  Myrtle can work great in the V2 spot.
  • 1 Healing Defender, D1
  • 2 Ranged Guards ,G1 and G2.  We might be able to get away with using other types of guards if our other DPS are strong enough, but their range and ability to hit aerial enemies can ease up our requirements quite a bit.  SilverAsh's Scwhing Scwhing Skill 3 is what you should be looking for on Friend Support if you are struggling.
  • 3 Snipers, S1 and S2 will be Anti-Air, and S3 will be AoE.
  • 1 ST Caster, C1
  • 1 Fast Redeploy Specialist, Sp1

Here is the team I used:

Deployment

Unit placement can be seen in the image below, and deployment order should be done exactly as presented.  Each Operator can be placed as soon as there is sufficient DP.

Deployment Order:

  1. V1: Courier - Skill-DP-Recovery Vanguard (use his S2 to survive the Loggers)
  2. V2: Zima - Skill-DP-Recovery Vanguard
  3. S1: Platinum - Anti-Air Sniper (our stronger one)
  4. S2: Kroos - Anti-Air Sniper
  5. S3: Meteorite - AoE Sniper
  6. C1: Amiya - ST Caster
  7. Sp1: Gravel - Fast Redeploy Specialist. (I dropped her here to protect my ranged from the Snipers.  If your front line is strong enough to take out the Snipers, or if you have enough DP Regen to deploy G1 faster, this may not be necessary)
  8. G1: SilverAsh - Ranged Guard

Formation should look like this:

When we have enough DP, we'll make the following replacements:

  • retreat Sp1 (to be used later to bomb soak)
  • Retreat V2 and deploy D1: Gummy - Healing Defender
  • Retreat V1 and Deploy D2: Lappland - Ranged Guard

We now look like this:

Screen Shot 2020-06-16 at 6.35.01 PM
  • Deploy Sp1 at D2 to soak the bombs as necessary.  I only needed to Soak the middle of the 5, and my snipers were able to take out the others.
  • When Sp1 is done soaking, you can deploy a Vanguard at E9, D9, or C10 if you need help blocking any leaks.
  • A good time to Schwing Schwing SilverAsh S3 is not long after the bombtails start, around kill 75
  • Remember that you can have 2 leaks and still be successful!!

Enjoy your rewards!
