+ Trait: Skills heal allies. Healing Defenders can cover multiple roles, especially useful for CC and some Challenge Modes.
+ Talent 1 and 2: Increase DEF, typically a weakness for Healing Defenders
+ Talent 2: Increases healing received
+ S2: a Skill that increases DEF, something most Healing Defenders lack. Healed allies gain 1 SP
= SP charges when “getting hit” which means they will charge faster when blocking many fast hitting enemies, but slower when blocking slower hitting enemies, and not at all when not being hit.
- Since he needs to be getting hit to charge his Skills, he cannot heal if he’s not blocking, limiting his options for use as a healer
- Generally, worse healer than same-rarity-or-higher Healing Defenders, and worse damage mitigation than same-rarity-or-higher Normal Defenders

Operator Overview

It’s a pet dog! No, it’s a guard dog! No, it’s Hung: bodyguard, big brother, and baker extraordinaire! Considering how much time he spends taking care of his obnoxious little brother Aak, it’s probably not a surprise that Hung takes care of the other Operators on his team as well. As a 5* Healing Defender with a whole lot of survivability and a little SP generation utility, Hung brings a lot more to the table than just a well-cooked dinner.

One of the shortcomings of most Healing Defenders is that they’re less durable than Normal Defenders. Hung works hard to circumvent this weakness, starting with his Talent, Gatekeeper. At E1, this Talent gives him a DEF buff, and at E2 any unit deployed directly behind him on a ranged grid gains extra healing, synergizing well with healers (including himself!) His Skill 1, Counter Treatment, heals one adjacent ally and triggers every few times Hung is attacked (thus the “Counter” part of the name). If Hung is Blocking multiple enemies, this Skill can charge at astounding speed! His Skill 2, Counter Healing Mode, takes this concept to the next level: it gives Hung a huge ATK and DEF boost, causes him to stop attacking and start healing adjacent allies instead, and grants 1 SP to every ally Hung heals. This Skill gives Hung enormous battlefield presence in terms of durability, healing, and utility, making him a strong centerpiece for your defensive line.

Hung loses a lot of power when Counter Healing Mode is not in effect, however, and this can lead to problems. Hung’s ATK is low for a Healing Defender, which affects the strength of his heals, and his HP and DEF are low in comparison to equal-rarity Normal Defenders, which hinders his ability to soak damage. This is especially noticeable if you can’t deploy him in front of a ranged grid to maximize his Talent. 

Of course, the other side of the coin is that Hung can soak damage better than most Healing Defenders due to his S2’s DEF boost, while his healing and SP generation brings utility that few Normal Defenders can equal. Very few Healing Defenders have any kind of damage mitigation, and this alone gives Hung a worthwhile niche in the archetype. On maps where you can utilize his strengths, you’ll be happy to let this good boi lead the rest of his pack to victory.

To be honest, others can tell from a glance that he is a kind-hearted person despite his massive size. He is always considerate of others, and gets along very well with just about anybody.

Though Hung is quite humble, his superb cooking speaks for itself.
Anyone who has seen his culinary arts has showered him with praise.
As a native of Lungmen, he specializes in the area's local cuisine. In addition to being able to elevate ordinary home cooking to delicious heights, he also can concoct haute cuisine that otherwise only appears in five-star restaurants.
Surprisingly, according to his own accounts, his cooking is entirely inherited from Old Lee, which really makes one wonder... Just what kind of culinary monstrosity is Mr. Lee?

According to his own recollection, Hung first worked as a guard for a certain company, but his easygoing personality made him prone to bullying, eventually getting him kicked from the company. He was then invited to the agency by Old Lee when he was suffering from hunger and never again can he leave the business. (Note: This description was from Hung himself)
Regarding Mr. Lee and Lee's Detective Agency, while it is not suitable to describe the scope of business in detail, here is a brief summary: Lee's Detective Agency only takes investigative cases as a front, while actually accepting just about any type of work. They are known as the "House of Everything" within Lungmen's gray zone.
According to his description of Mr. Lee, we can conclude that Lee concealed a darker secret from Hung. Though it is obvious that Hung is kind-hearted, he is no pedantic old man. He knows very well that you can't talk things through with everyone, and not every story can have a happy ending.

Hung rescued Aak from the aftermath of a gang war, at which point the two assumed their codenames. According to Mr. Lee, he chose the names on a whim at that time.
Hung treats Aak and Waai Fu as his younger brother and sister. In fact, Hung doubles as the liaison between Lee's Detective Agency and Rhodes Island, or in other words, serves as the guardian for the other two operators.
Of course, that title is also nominal in nature, since Waai Fu and Aak are both sufficiently autonomous. That being the case, unless Hung himself makes a request, Rhodes Island will not deliberately arrange them to live together or to work together.
Nevertheless, Hung's worries about his younger brother are evident through his conversations with the Doctor. He wanted Aak to see the kindness in the world, but did not know how to do so himself, and so he chose to stay with him.
Even though he hasn't realized it yet, despite Aak's somewhat nasty personality, Aak has fundamentally been influenced by Hung.

Voice Lines

Appointed as Assistant Hey, Doc. Have you eaten yet? You could have one of my cookies if you're hungry.
Talk 1 Doc, if Aak ever steps out of line, could you be lenient with him? He teases people a lot, but he's not a bad person. Also, if he ever gets under your skin, just tell me and I'll get him to tone it down.
Talk 2 Just call on me when you're hungry, Doc, and I'll make you a little something to eat. I may not be a chef, but Mr. Lee taught me how to cook a few recipes.
Talk 3 Say, Doc, do you give any lectures on machines here at Rhodes Island? I've got an interest in that stuff and was hoping I could learn something new.
Talk after Promotion 1 Hahah, just between you and me, Doc, for the longest time I thought all detectives do the same stuff as Mr. Lee. You know, like investigating crime scenes, that sort of thing.
Talk after Promotion 2 I'm sure you already know, but with the intellect and talent that Aak's got, he's destined for great things one day. But personally, all that matters to me is that he doesn't ever go back to his old way of doing things.
Talk after Trust Increase 1 Me and Mr. Lee, well... How should I put it... I was a bit scared at first. He seemed like a guy who's got dark secrets, which had me on edge... But now after knowing him for so many years, I know that's definitely not the case.
Talk after Trust Increase 2 If you need info on something or someone, just tell me and I'll ask Mr. Lee for you. Nothing in Lungmen happens without him knowing about it.
Talk after Trust Increase 3 To be honest with you, I actually don't like getting into fights. I'd much rather we could all get along with each other. But I'm not a militant pacifist; there are things I'll fight to protect. Things like the agency, and now, Rhodes Island as well.
