Should You Pull?

Probably not. Asbestos is a great counter for enemy Arts damage and Tsukinogi is Arknights’ first true Buffer Operator (and only the second Operator in Global with the ability to remove stealth), but both Operators are quite niche. They’d be nice to pull, but it’s probably not worth spending resources on a banner dedicated just to them.

Despite that, you might still consider doing Headhunt x1 until you pull a 5★ or higher Operator, since one is guaranteed in the first 10 rolls.

Quick Overview

Arts DPS Defender

+ Ultimate anti-Arts damage Defender

+ Gains bonus SP when hit by Arts damage

+ Does Arts damage herself when her Skills are active

+ S2 is a big offensive and defensive buff with the added benefits of dealing Arts damage, increased attack range, and causing splash damage

- Not nearly as resistant to physical damage as she is to Arts damage (S1, in particular, offers no physical damage mitigation whatsoever)

- Loses out on her bonus SP gain if she isn’t getting hit with Arts damage

Buffer/ Debuffer Supporter

+ Like other Buffer/ Debuffers, she has a cheap DP cost, high base RES, Arts-based attacks, and a wide attack range

+ Buffs allies in her attack range with Sanctuary (take reduced damage) when they are low on HP

+ S1 grants Physical and Arts Dodge and reveals stealthed enemies within range. She is only the second Operator in the global game that can reveal stealth (the first being SilverAsh).

+ S2 greatly increases the effects of her Talent and constantly heals allies within her attack range

- Usual Buffer/ Debuffer weaknesses (terrible HP, ATK, and DEF)

- Skills have poor uptime

- The HP requirement means that her Sanctuary buff is not very helpful if A) your units are usually at high health or B) enemy DPS is so high that the buff activates too late to help

Asbestos

Asbestos E2

Asbestos has no qualms about being labeled a bastard, which is good, because enemies who rely on Arts DPS will definitely be calling her some nasty names. Not only does Asbestos have high base RES (boosted higher by her Talent), but she gains bonus SP when hit by an Arts attack, making her the ultimate anti-Arts Defender. To add injury to insult, Asbestos turns her own attacks into Arts damage when her Skills are active! Turnabout is fair play, after all!

Tsukinogi

Tsukinogi E2

An interesting variant on an existing archetype, Tsukinogi is the first “Buffer” Operator of the “Buffer/ Debuffer Supporter” archetype. She has the huge attack range and cheap DP cost of Pramanix or Shamare, but instead of debuffing enemies, she supports her allies with the "Sanctuary" buff, reducing the physical and Arts damage that allies take when they are below a certain percentage of HP. Enemies shouldn’t think that this graceful priestess can’t defend herself, however. Tsukinogi can remove stealth effects from her foes with her Traceless Skill, leaving them exposed and vulnerable to her Arts attacks!
