  • New games arriving to the platform soon

On September 12th, 2019 at Tokyo Game Show 2019, Konami announced a plethora of mobile phone offerings included a rhythm game tribute titled BEMANI ULTIMATE MOBILE.

A TGS 2019 trailer showcases gameplay from three very popular Konami rhythm games: Dance Dance Revolution, Betamania IIDX, and Sound Voltex.

BEMANI has been the brand rhythm games from Konami have been released under since over 20 years ago.

It is unknown what kind of payment structure will be required in order to play the game, or if it'll be coming stateside. Other types of rhythm games were also revealed to be coming to the platform, such as Drum Mania, Guitar Freaks, and Jubeat.

Rhythm games have been very popular on mobile devices ever since Tap Tap Revenge took over people's lives in the early 2000s. The combo of rhythm game giant Konami and mobile gaming is a no-brainer; now we just have to see if the game will be competitively priced and feature all the songs fans know and want.
