Brown Dust Android Update Causes 4 Day Long Maintenance

news
  • The popular mobile game hasn't been accessible since October

On November 3, 2019, the official Brown Dust Facebook page posted an explanation for the extended server maintenance taking place in the game since October 31st.

The game has been offline for some time now, and the announcement revealed that it was due to an issue with Google Play's publishing practices.

Players are rightfully very upset about this predicament. The r/Brown_Dust subreddit has many memes posted to the front page complaining about the lack of the ability to do dailies or arenas in order to preserve score.

Today, the compensation for the extended maintenance has been announced. Items in Android player's mailboxes have had an additional 7 days added to their expiration timers. Daily rewards will be added to accounts based on the number of days missed by maintenance(the maximum amount of rewards will be used to calculate this compensation). Arena rewards will be granted based on the previous week's preformance.

In addition, 1000 Diamonds, 1500 Horseshoes, and a ton of other items will be added as a thank you. Players who have logged into the game on an Android device from September 30 to October 31 will have access to these rewards.
