Call Of Duty Coming To Mobile Devices

Not many companies took first person shooters seriously on mobile devices before the insanely successful PUBG Mobile started raking in the cash.

But that seems to be changing more and more. Activision announced two months ago that there would be a Call of Duty title coming to mobile, but now that we can see the trailer (and see the game was fully developed as a shooter for a touch screen phone), it sure looks like they're bringing out the big guns.

The graphics look great -- everything we could want in a COD game. The loadouts look customizable, the characters look familiar in some instances from previous Call of Duty titles, and it sure feels like a first person shooter on mobile.

The game is currently only soft-launched in one area of the world (Australia) so the best most of us can do for now is pre-register on the official site (link below) for more information, potential beta access, and potential rewards.

All in all, it's yet again an interesting trend. As game developers explore mobile more fully, we'll hopefully continue to see more re-imaginings or even closer to console experiences on mobile devices.

We'll have the latest news here for COD Mobile and let you know when it releases globally.
