Overview
EX 3F Frieza PUR is a strange Fighter - he's got some identity issues. His Blast Attack is through the roof, but he has the potential to Buff his Strike Damage, which is fairly counter-intuitive for him.
The last round of balance updates granted him with very high base Stats, giving him some meager viability as a budget option on Frieza Force and Lineage of Evil Cores. He peaks early in the match with his Arts Cost Reduction, and can sort of function as an off-tank thanks to his high stats.
Strengths
Anti-Regeneration
Against the Regeneration Tag, EX 3rd Form Frieza PUR can shred through its Fighters with his permanent +40% Blast Damage Buff against the Tag. With this Buff and his Main Ability's +45% Damage Received Debuff, he's actually capable of some incredible, match-up dependent Offense.
Weaknesses
Lineage of Synergy
His Z-Ability's Buff to the Lineage of Evil Tag is magnificent for the Team, which doesn't possess a ton of easily accessible Z-Abilities. 3rd Form Frieza might be directly contested by better Purple Fighters, but he still finds a place for himself on the Team's bench.
That being said, it's not a fantastic Buff - as it merely Buffs Blast Attack. He's great for new players looking to build Teams, but he loses relevance on high-investment Builds.

Lineage of Evil
On this Team, EX 3rd Form Frieza PUR carves out a niche for himself as a counter Fighter for the Regeneration match-up. Even in that match-up though, he's directly outclassed by this Tag's Purple juggernauts, SP Cooler PUR and SP 1st Form Frieza PUR, who are both far stronger than him.

For a Defense Fighter, this Equip once again does the job. It gives EX 3F Frieza PUR Bufs to every Defensive stat he could want. However, while he’s incredibly durable against Blast Attacks, his Strike Defense is among the worst. Players should keep that in mind when bringing him into a Match.

As a Defense Fighter that specializes in Blast Defense and has high Blast Attack, this is an excellent option for this Fighter. Most importantly, it gives a nice Boost to Strike Defense which is important as EX 3F Frieza PUR is horrible in this category.
