Overview
EX Kid Gohan YEL is surprisingly capable for an EX Fighter. Not only does his Main Ability draw a Special Move Arts Card, it also increases Damage inflicted by 80% and restores Ki. What’s more, his Special Move Arts Card also Restores Ki, making him a surprisingly great Fighter for extending Combos. His strong stats and Blast Damage make him great on the Core of a Hybrid Saiyans Team.
An interesting aspect of his kit is the ability to reduce allies' Substitution Counts when they change Cover. Additionally, his bonus Damage to Frieza Force can help in situations against certain members of Lineage of Evil Teams.
Outside of his great Blast Damage, EX Kid Gohan YEL gets decent Buffs per defeated battle member. While it is unlikely he would replace SP SS2 Youth Gohan RED, he can help prop up a Team after an early game downed Fighter thanks to his 'The Courage to Confront' Unique Ability.
Strengths
Ki Restore
With two separate Ki restore abilities, and a Special Move card Ki restore, this Fighter can reliably prolong combos.
Equipment
He also has access to some great equips for Hybrids and Son Family, including the massive stat boosts available from the EX equip ‘I Think We’ve Got This!’ , and the great buffs in the ‘I Want to Fight!’ equipment.
Team Choice
EX Gohan YEL can fill in a spot on any Son Family, Hybrids, or Frieza Saga (Z) team thanks to his many tags and his useful Main Ability.
Weaknesses
Difficult to 3* or 5*
This Fighter's limited availability makes it difficult to Limit Break them.
Just a Boy
This Fighter’s defenses do leave something to be desired, especially considering his kit is semi designed as a last man standing Fighter with his ‘The Courage to Confront’ Unique Ability.
Team Synergy

This Fighter adds a great YEL Blast Damage option to Hybrid Saiyan cores.
Episode: Frieza Saga (Z)
While it is a niche team with a limited pool of Fighter's, EX Kid Gohan YEL's Unique Ability should guarantee him a spot on the core.
Son Family
While there are certainly stronger alternatives, pairing EX Kid Gohan YEL with SP Angry Goku BLU can be a surprisingly effective combo. Not only does this help buff EX Kid Gohan YEL's Unique Ability, it also ensures another Special Move card is drawn for SP Angry Goku BLU.
