Overview
If there was one thing the Future Tag was missing, it was a Purple Fighter and someone who could help them break through the barrier of combatting Regeneration Teams for agonizingly long amounts of time. EX Teen Trunks PUR gives them all of that at long last.
For an EX Rarity Fighter, he not only has good Defenses but excellent Strike Attack as well, ranking among some of the best in the entire game. He can take a few hits but hits back 10 times harder--especially against Regeneration Fighters.
Strengths
Anti-Regeneration
His 40% extra Strike Damage against Regeneration Fighters makes him an excellent choice, as he will even make quick work of neutral matchups.
It should be noted that SP Perfect Cell YELÂ is still a favorable match up against EX Teen Trunks PUR, with the former being a staple on Regeneration Teams.
Strike Specialist
Everything about this Fighter is geared towards devastating amounts of Strike Attack, and luckily he has the dual Strike Arts Cards to back it up. His Innate Power Unique Ability gives him an additional 40% Strike Attack for the first 25 timer counts on top of it all.
Excellent Equips
EX Teen Trunks PUR wants as much Strike Attack as humanly possible, and gets exactly that from his Equip options.
Weaknesses
One dimensional
EX Teen Trunks PUR is a Melee Fighter through and through. While excellent in that regard, there isn't a lot else to his toolkit aside from his Main Ability.
Team Synergy
Future
He can easily be a mainstay in the Future Team as their primary Purple Fighter or simply as a niche pick against Regeneration Fighters due to his toolkit. Even as a bench Fighter, his Strike Attack Z-Ability is invaluable to the Team.
Purple Color Counter
His Z-Ability at 5 stars additional buffs Strike Attack for all Purple Fighters as well.
While it might be a challenge to limit break him to that point, if he ever gets to that point he would be a great addition either as a Regeneration counter or Strike Attack Buff from the bench.

This Equip is one of the best in the entire game for any Melee Fighter. Luckily for EX Teen Trunks PUR he meets the requirements for it.Â
+20% Strike Attack and up to 15% for both Defenses is sensational. "!!!" can be used instead for Blast Attack over Blast Defense.
