Overview

GT has finally received their long-awaited buff and what a buff they received. SP Tag SSJ4 Goku and Vegeta GRN is one of the best Fighters in the game as they have a lot going for them in their toolkit and their best partner is SP LL SSJ4 Goku YEL with his new Zenkai Awakening.
Goku and Vegeta are different Fighters that come together to make a beast of a unit. Vegeta is more of a staller as he gets high amounts of Card Draw Speed and lowered card cost to prolong their combo and he gets cover null as well while Goku is the brawler of the two, the Fighter that can deal insane Damage to any Fighter in the game.
Defensively, they leave much to be desired but their healing combined with their stalling capabilities and the inability to Rising Rush or use an Ultimate Arts against them make up for it.
 

Strengths

Radiant Red Guardians

SP LL SSJ4 Goku and Vegeta GRN have some of the best switch effects in the entire game. Goku to Vegeta grants them Card Draw speed which adds to Vegeta’s Card Draw Speed to make that lvl 2 Card Draw Speed with reduced cost on their Blast and Strike Arts. This is insanely broken as they can do a combo for a very long time especially since they get 10 timer counts of cover nullification for each switch if 3 enemy battle members are remaining.
Vegeta To Goku grants Goku a Special Move Arts Card which is their bread and butter along with their AoE Extra Arts. Goku also gets -40% of the enemy’s sustained Damage cut which makes him one of the highest Damage Dealers in the entire game.
As mentioned in the Overview, Goku is the brawler and Vegeta is the staller and this combination allows them to make comebacks effortlessly.

 

Comeback Kings

Speaking of comebacks, SP SSJ4 Goku and Vegeta GRN are some of the best comeback Fighters in the entire game due to their insane neutral via their Blast Armor and Extra Arts and their ability to restore their vanish via their Special Move Arts. Not only that but Goku and Vegeta get more Damage and healing if battle members die on their team. 
 

AOE Extra Arts

SP LL Tag SSJ4 Goku and Vegeta GRN’s Extra Arts is one of, if not the best Extra Arts in the game right now due to the ease of use and the effects that it gives. It’s an AOE Extra Arts which makes it insanely powerful in neutral and they draw Extra Arts a lot due to their Card Draw Speed.
If it’s Goku using the Extra Arts, he gets a Strike Card next and he reduces the enemy’s Dragonballs and Vegeta draws a Blast Card and increases his Dragon Balls by 1.

Team Synergy

GT

SP LL Tag SSJ4 Goku and Vegeta GRN along with SP Android 17(Hell) PUR and SP LL SSJ4 Goku YEL have made GT one of the best teams in the game as they cover each other really well and synergize incredibly well with each other. With these 3 as a core, GT looks to be a top-tier team for a long time.
