Overview
Released together with SP Super Vegeta YEL, SP Super Trunks GRN is an Offensive Fighter who’s all about Melee Damage.
To balance out a really high Strike Attack, SP Super Trunks GRN has some drawbacks in terms of in his other stats or less than impressive Abilities.
Strengths
Insane Strike Damage Output
This Fighter has an incredible Strike Attack base stat, backed up by his Abilities which allow him to further increase the Damage dealt.
His Main Ability increases Strike Damage dealt by 75%, which is impressive but only lasts 10 timer counts.
He also increases Damage output by 20% every time he enters the battlefield, making him a good Fighter for tactical switching.
Weaknesses
Mortal Wounds
Not only is this Fighter Green, which already makes him extremely vulnerable in the current Meta, he also has atrocious Defenses and Health, which basically makes any hit he takes inflict serious Damage. Also, considering his Main Ability issues, he’s very easy to catch.
Main Ability Drawbacks
This Fighter's Main Ability has various drawbacks for balancing purposes. His Vanishing Step Recovery Speed is halved for 10 timer counts. This means if the timing is just a bit off, what could have been an awesome combo becomes an opening for Attack.
Vanish-Step has only gotten more valuable since the Side-Step update, so this has become an even bigger risk in PVP that might not be worth the gains for most Players.
Bad Fit
His Strike Attack dependance makes him a bad fit for Hybrid Saiyan, who is renowned for being a Blast-centric Tag at the moment.
Team Synergy
Hybrid Saiyan
SP Super Trunks GRN may not be one of the top choices for Hybrid Saiyan Team Builds anymore, but his Z-Ability Buffs the entire Team's base Strike Attack and base Critical. This makes him a good bench Fighter, or core of there are no better options.
Future
He’s a great niche pick in the Future for players who don’t have better options. While he doesn’t Buff the Tag himself, he does Buff Hybrid Saiyan Strike Attack, which is a great help for SP SSJ Gohan YEL and SP SSJ2 Trunks BLU.
