Another variation of Vegeta from the Broly Movie has been released in Dragonball Legends but this time he has a coat! SP Vegeta  RED is the first Vegeta Family HP stat buffer in the game which makes him a lock-in for the Vegeta Family Team.

He also follows the common troupe among Vegeta Family Fighters where he’s all about offense and lacks in defense.

Strengths

Just Warming Up

SP Vegeta RED gives 30% Damage Inflicted and 40% Ki Recovery to all his allies(which includes himself) for 60 timer counts. This ability is great because you don’t have to switch him out, switch him in or do anything to activate it other than bringing the Fighter into battle. It also works with Non-Vegeta Family units which makes it a bit more versatile.

Amazing Z-Ability

As mentioned before, SP Vegeta  RED’s Z Ability buffs the HP Stat for Vegeta Family units by a maximum of 20%. HP Z Abilities are considered to be the best in the game and one of Vegeta Family’s biggest weaknesses was the fact that the team never had an HP buffer but now they do which makes the team a bit bulkier.

Damage Never Leaves

SP Vegeta  RED is primarily a mid to late game fighter because the second half of his “This might be a pretty good warm-up” unique ability activates after 30 timer counts. In the mid to late game, he’ll have 115% Damage Inflicted as well as a card draw speed increase when he enters the battlefield. This will go down after 60 counts due to his support capabilities running out at the 60 timer count mark but SP Vegeta  RED is a formidable Damage dealer in the current meta.

Weaknesses

Poor Defense

As mentioned before, SP Vegeta RED suffers the same fate as most Vegeta Family units by having poor defensive capabilities. Even with his 20% Damage Reduction, his defense stats are too low for it to be of much use.

Team Synergy

Vegeta Family

SP Vegeta RED is one of the core members of the Vegeta Family Tag, replacing Fighters such as SP Heat-Dome Trunks RED and SP SSJ Trunks RED.

Since SP Vegeta RED has an HP Z-Ability, he will be a member of this team for the foreseeable future.

Alongside SP SSG Vegeta BLU, SP LL Majin Vegeta BLU, and SP SSB Vegeta PUR, SP Vegeta RED has reinforced Vegeta Family’s biggest strength which is their Offensive Capabilities and has made the team better.

Applies the following effects to self when this character enters the battlefield:

Restores Ki by 20.
+40% to damage inflicted for 20 timer counts.
Increases Arts Card Draw Speed by 1 level for 15 timer counts.

Also draw a Special Arts Card next if a "Tag: Vegeta Family" other than this character is a battle member (activates once).

This might end up being a pretty good warm-up!

Applies the following effects to allies from battle start for 60 timer counts:

+30% to damage inflicted (cannot be cancelled).
+40% to Ki Recovery (cannot be cancelled).
