- While not the optimal Team for this Fighter, this iteration takes full advantage of SP Super Saiyan Goku RED's Unique Abilities, playing out the canonical scene when Goku attained the Super Saiyan form after Frieza destroyed Krillin. Every Unique Ability added through Zenkai Awakening fits this motif.
- With strong Anti-Lineage Of Evil Damage Buffs, and a choice between Defeated Buffs to stack on both Goku variants, this is a Saiyan-based Team who can counter their dedicated counter.

- Another iteration of the same Goku from the same unforgettable moment in Dragon Ball Z history, this particular one is well-known in the Meta, most notably for his countering Special Move that becomes a Legendary Finish.
- While SP Angry Goku BLU doesn't specifically require a Krillin variant to perish to make the most of his Abilities, he does become stronger as more Allies are defeated. This means that both EX Krillin PUR and EX Nail PUR benefit SP Angry Goku BLU, and could even form a Blue Color Counter Team with both of them if desired.

- In any combination in which both Goku variants are not brought along, EX Nail PUR is clearly the better choice over EX Krillin PUR.
- EX Nail PUR is best in the opening counts of a match, where his unrelenting Offense and Healing Extra Card softens up the opposition before his Defeated Buffs kick in for his Allies when his "do or die" spirit becomes the latter.

- An oft overlooked Fighter, SP Goku Captain Ginyu RED can be quite the nuisance to the opposing Team, stealing Dragon Balls and tagging Damage Recieved Buffs on the opponent.
- SP Goku Captain Ginyu RED benefits greatly from SP Super Saiyan Goku RED's Zenkai Z-Ability, making for a surprisingly effective and disruptive Fighter that goes down about the time his non-imposter Goku Allies are ready to end the fight.
Team Discussion
For the purpose of optimizing a Zenkai Awakened SP Super Saiyan Goku RED, this is not the proper Team for him, even if it does make use of all of his Abilities. It is not a bad Team though, it shares the same theory as Son Family Teams -- that is both Teams prioritize strong battle members over tight synergy. In that respect, this Team is fantastic. A Core of SP Angry Goku BLU, SP Super Saiyan Goku RED, and SP Final Form Frieza: Full Power YEL is quite the list of Fighters capable of winning on their own. EX Krillin PUR is the best Krillin option to bring alongside both Goku variants, which makes sense as he was specifically crafted to work with this Tag.
The few Z-Abilities available are heavily weighted towards Offense to compliment the stack of Damage and Ultimate Damage Buffs that this Team has become known for, relying on Defensive skills such as EX Krillin PUR's Solar Flare, SP FF FP Frieza YEL's Nova Strike, or SP Angry Goku BLU's legendary Angry Kamehameha to not only shore up Defenses, but flip the combat loop back into Frieza Saga's favor.
