Meta Shift: Collab Summon Part 2

Submit Feedback or Error

Banner Overview

The Broly Collaboration Summon Part 2 comes with only one new featured Fighter and the now common 999x Z-Power mechanic for the first 5 days. Since SP SSJG Vegeta YEL is the only new Fighter, he’s only one in the Banner that benefits from that mechanic.

It’s still a nice addition for those who decide to pull in the first few days, but the overall value of this deal is not as good as similar summons.

SP SSJG Vegeta YEL is a Melee Fighter. His stats make him very powerful but fragile. However, his is great for quick bursts of Damage, which can go a long way with the right Team Build.

  • The God Ki Tag finally gets another Fighter. However, SP SSJG Vegeta YEL isn’t very limited in the Builds he can perform well in.

  • His The Strongest Warrior Race Unique Ability Boosts his Strike Damage by 50% when his Health is higher than that of the Enemy. This may seem situational, but creates the potential for enormous amounts of Damage if used in the right way.

  • He has one of the best Cover-style Unique Abilities in the game. It reduces Damage received by 40% until the Enemy Combo ends, and if close range, it knocks them back. This effect is great, and while the knockback doesn’t last long enough to permit using a Card without the Enemy vanishing, it still reverses a possible bad situation, especially when paired with SP SSJG Vegeta YEL’s other Abilities.

Effects on the Meta

The God Ki Tag becomes a decent option for PVP with the addition of SP SSJG Vegeta YEL. He gives the Team a very strong Offensive option. However, he probably won’t be enough to make a purely God Ki Team competitive against some of the other top Teams in the Meta.

His Synergy with SP SSJ Cabba GRN is a little more interesting. He can really benefit from SP SSJ Cabba GRN’s Damage Buff and they would make a good Green color counter Team with SP Vegeta GRN as the last Fighter.

In the last few months, it’s been dangerous to use such a Team due to all the dangerous Purple Fighters in the Meta. But SP SSJG Vegeta YEL can absolutely crush them with his quick bursts of Damage, and the overall combinations possible for this Team make it very strong in the current Meta.

Alternatively, the two of them can be paired with another strong Universe 6 Fighter such as SP SSJ2 Caulifla PUR or SP SSJ Berserk Kale RED and putting some Saiyan Z-Abilities on the bench to increase the Synergy.

He’s also a Sagas Warrior, but another strong Damage option is not exactly what this Tag needs right now and given that this Team’s top option is currently two Lineage of Evil Fighters SP SSJ Broly PUR, SP SSJG Vegeta YEL probably won’t shine here.

Should You Pull?

This Banner--other than SP SSJG Vegeta YEL--features the monstrous SP SSJ Broly PUR, the increasingly useful SP SSJG Goku RED, the helpful SP Paikuhan YEL, and the extremely outdated SP LSSJ Broly BLU.

Overall, it’s a really great Banner with some top Meta Fighters. It’s worth doing some pulls, especially if you are missing SP SSJ Broly PUR.

However, it should be noted that this type of sequel Banner means it’s possible that there will be more like it in the future. Considering it features the two Fighters previously featured in Part 1, both SP SSJG Vegeta YEL and SP SSJ Broly PUR could return again in a possible Part 3 Banner.
