Meta Shift: Sagas Baddies and Videl

Submit Feedback or Error

Banner Overview

The USTS#12 Banner comes with some new things that essentially make it worse than any previous USTS Banners. Only two new Sparking Fighters are featured this time, meaning that there is an even higher chance of pulling a filler Fighter than a new one.

As if that wasn’t enough, the rates from Guaranteed Sparking Tickets look worse than before, amounting to a slim 34% chance of getting one of the new Fighters through that route

Effect on the Meta

While SP LSSJ Broly GRN, SP Metal Coora RED, and EX Videl PUR are not game-changing Fighters, they all have good toolkits with some interesting Abilities, making them viable additions for their respective Teams.

Sagas Warriors

SP LSSJ Broly GRN replaces SP Coora GRN as the best Green Fighter for Sagas Warriors. He’s a very reliable Tank albeit, one with low Offensive stats. Despite not being clearly better than anyone in the current core, he’s a great option against all the strong Blue Fighters in the current Meta.

Since some key Lineage of Evil Fighters are also Sagas Warriors, a combination between these two Tags is now a solid alternative again thanks to SP Metal Coora RED.

Lineage of Evil

SP Metal Coora RED is a solid addition mainly because of his Team-Healing Main Ability, however, this may not be enough to bring Lineage of Evil back to its past glory. In fact, this Team’s Offense is not earth-shattering anymore and its overall durability remains low despite the addition of a Team-Heal.

Super Saiyan

Despite this Team’s lack of a Defense Fighter, SP LSSJ Broly GRN doesn’t fit well here because of his bad Offense. Since this is a problem that someone like SP SSJ Kid Goku GRN doesn’t suffer from, he’s a much better choice as the Green Fighter of this Team.

Female Warrior

EX Videl PUR’s Cover, combined with her Healing Ability, makes her quite durable, and she’s not bad Offensively either. While she probably isn’t good enough to be part of the core, she fits well in a Female Warrior Purple Color Counter, so she Synergizes very well with SP Great Saiyaman 2 RED.

Should You Pull?

Probably not. The odds of getting one of the new Fighters aren’t favorable, and they don’t affect the Meta that much. The Guaranteed Sparking Tickets still provide a decent chance to pull them anyway, so the advice here is to keep saving for Dragon Ball Legends’ Anniversary.
