Overview
Dokkan continues to introduce powerful F2P Cards that every player should own. Cooler is an impressive support Card that Buffs Terrifying Conquerors allies, alongside being a tank by stacking DEF, and under the right Team can have some impressive ATK Buffs from his Link Skills.
Cooler’s limitations lie within his cooperation outside of Teams without Terrifying Conquerors allies because non-Terrifying Conquerors allies will not receive any Buffs from Cooler’s Passive Skill, or much Ki for that matter. Keep in mind this Card is F2P, so even with its minor faults this Card is still impressive and everyone should take the time to farm for Cooler.
Strengths
While Cooler’s DEF stats start off pretty low, thankfully, his Passive Skill provides a 40% ATK & DEF Buff from the start of the battle. With ATK Links like “Nightmare,” “Thirst for Conquest,” and “Brutal Beatdown,” Cooler can get some notable ATK Buffs that are not too hard to pull off on certain Teams.
On top of this Buff Cooler also stacks DEF with his Super ATK, so this Card is a great pick for longer events as Cooler can reach some impressive DEF numbers.
On top of hitting pretty hard and being a tank, this Card also provides all Terrifying Conquerors allies with +2 Ki and a 30% ATK & DEF Buff. Not only does this Passive Skill make up for a lack of Ki Links, but in situations where allies may not share all of Cooler’s ATK Links, which offers some players some freedom in deciding to keep this Card on the main rotation or as a floater.
Weaknesses
Cooler’s Link Skills are not bad, but they are seemingly more geared towards a Team with Wicked Bloodline allies. Cooler’s only Ki Link is “Strongest Clan in Space,” so non-Wicked Bloodline allies are out of luck. If an ally is not part of Terrifying Conquerors or Wicked Bloodline they are not getting any Ki from Cooler.
Cooler is quite a powerful F2P Card, but he is limited in terms of the Teams that maximize his capabilities. Cooler needs Terrifying Conquerors allies, which excludes all Super Class allies, to maximize his usage. Without Terrifying Conquerors allies Cooler is not terrible, but do not expect him to play nice with the rest of the Team, as he becomes quite a selfish Tank.
Synergy
Cooler’s best allies are in Wicked Bloodline or Terrifying Conquerors, as the majority of those Cards will activate a large portion of Coolers ATK Links, while simultaneously gaining his Passive Skill Buff. This is not to say Cooler is a terrible Card outside of these Teams, but for players to recognize its limitations.
This Card is probably best on a Wicked Bloodline Team, or a Team where the majority of Cards are Wicked Bloodline allies, because of Wicked Bloodlines overlap with Terrifying Conquerors, and these Cards link incredibly well with Cooler.
