Overview
Android 13 blasts onto Global sporting some incredible, flexible utility and a powerful toolkit that provides his main Team with Support and great Damage post-Transformation.
The more interesting aspects of his kit let him make a splash in most events in the Game, and with his fantastic internal synergy options, he’s a true force to be reckoned with. Android 13 does run into some issues, however.
His lack of the fundamentally important Shocking Speed link, his strict Transformation Conditions, and the fact that he requires Target Goku Category allies to max out his ATK bonus post-Transformation gives him trouble. Despite being held back somewhat, he’s a fantastic option on a number of Teams.
Strengths
Prior to entering his fused state, Android 13 fulfills a few clear roles; those being reinforced by his fantastic +130% ATK and DEF Buff at the start of the turn. Not only can he Attack and Defend well, 13’s Super Attack lowers enemy DEF and has a 30% chance to Stun his target for 2 turns.
The strongest part of Android 13’s kit is his Supportive potential on Android Category Teams. He provides them with an excellent +30% Buff to ATK and DEF, as well as 2 Ki. With this Buff, 13 can work well on any rotation in any slot.
When 2 Android Allies are fielded alongside Android 13, 5 turns or later into the start of the match, he absorbs his destroyed compatriots and becomes an absolute monster.
Fusion 13 retains his previous form’s Super Attack Effect, as well as its 130% ATK and DEF Buff at the start of the Turn, but it replaces the Support Buff with a +13% ATK Buff per Target: Goku Category Ally on 13’s Team. Though the lack of Support stings, the Damage output Fusion 13 is capable of on properly optimized Teams is brutal
Weaknesses
Android 13 is an excellent Defensive Card prior and post-Transformation, and his Support Buff makes him a premier floater. The problem with this strategy is that on 13’s Teams, he is guaranteed to Transform at the 5th Turn, so it’s impossible to retain 13’s Support Buff in long events.
Android 13’s lack of the key Ki Link Shocking Speed makes it difficult for him to easily Super Attack and Support his Teammates, especially after his Support Buff dissipates upon his Transformation.
Synergy
On all of his Category Teams, 13 is a reliable Supporter and brick wall that can hit back. Because he can Transform on his own Team, the Target: Goku/Android Team, he’s very versatile and capable of excelling in any kind of event.
Against Fighting Legend: Goku, 13’s Ability to negate Dodging and Guarantee Crits against Goku enemies gives him an edge.
