Overview
Super Gogeta is one of the game-defining Cards in Dokkan Battle. Before his EZA, he’s easily the best early game Cards to have in your Team due to his flexibility and strong flat stat Boosts. After the EZA, he becomes a strong all-round Card for almost any Game Mode while also being capable of acting as a sub-Leader. The few flaws Gogeta has are mostly nitpicks. He’s a very safe investment.
Strengths
Gogeta features one of the highest stats out of any UR in Dokkan, which is further emphasized after his EZA.
Gogeta’s signature Skill, which allows his attacks to be effective against all types, makes him a strong and versatile Damage dealer in almost any situation. His EZA brings his Passive Skill up to modern standards, while also giving him Defensive capabilities.
Between the standard Super Saiyan Links, “Fusion Fighter”, “Fierce Battle”, and “Over in a Flash”, it’s easy to find strong partners for Gogeta.
Weaknesses
Gogeta has only a few categories to fully show his strength, so just like his Fusion Reborn movie, most players won’t get to see him much. However, it’s worth noting that Super Saiyans and Movie Heroes are among the strongest categories in Dokkan.
While his EZA made his Passive Skill very strong, the same cannot be said about his Leader Skill. The main upside is how flexible it is--you can put together any kind of Team regardless of type or category. But the downside is having around half the stats a proper Team with a proper Leader would have.
It’s worth mentioning that even if the numbers aren’t as high as other Cards, it’s still a good enough Leader Skill to see play, particularly when a player lacks key Cards.
Synergy
Gogeta works best in Fusions Teams, where he can be paired with other Gogetas to activate most of his Link Skills. He also does very well Linking with Super Saiyan Gokus and Vegetas from Movie Heroes, and also their Super Saiyan God/Blue forms. With Super Saiyans, he gets a great partner in Super Saiyan Vegito while working well with almost everyone, even Broly Cards.
Gogeta works best in short Game Modes, but can also hold his own in a good amount of long stages due to his sheer ATK and DEF numbers.
