December 2019 General Skywalker Unlock Guide

Hello There Holotable High Ground Enthusiasts,

The second run of the General Skywalker event is coming this December 27th, 2019-- A very merry Christmas for some, but others will be feeling all the pressure of circumnavigating the globe in a single night not unlike Santa Claus himself.  While you must have more than the minimum requirements, this guide will help you get it with less than the Recommended specs in the Journey Guide.

The event consists of four tiers, one of which involves only event toons you do not need to farm, a Galactic Republic fleet battle, a Galactic Republic Battle, and a Separatists Battle as you relive the events of the Battle of Kamino. This event is the second Epic Confrontation to enter the game, the first being Darth Malak, and it is significantly more challenging than the Darth Malak Event, and it is crucial you do not attempt this event with the minimum requirements.

-Anakin’s Eta-2 Starfighter Required: 7* 40K GP 

-Galactic Republic Capital Ship 7* 40K GP

-At least 3 other GR ships 7* 40K GP

This is the easiest tier of the event, and I’ve seen several clears with only one G13 character. You do want everyone except Plo Koon and Jedi Consular at G12, but there is some wiggle room here if you’re running short on time.

Anakin’s Starfighter is an absolute staple to the Galactic Republic Fleet, so this is definitely a grind you won’t feel bad about--  Throwing some relics on JKA to strengthen the ship won’t just help you with the event, it’ll help with your fleet arena as well. Being the main source of damage for your squad, I highly recommend the Eta-2 if you can only relic one ship.

There are two Galactic Republic Capital Ships: The Negotiator piloted by General Kenobi and the The Endurance piloted by Mace Windu, and while the Negotiator is, of course, preferable, it is certainly not required.  You will want Mace Windu at a minimum of G11 if you cannot get the Negotiatior to 7* in time.

The lineup I recommend is Anakin’s Eta-2 Starfighter, Five’s Umbaran Starfighter, and Rex’s ARC-170 on the frontline.  I recommend Ahsoka Tano’s Jedi Starfighter, Plo Koon’s Jedi Starfighter, Jedi Consular’s Jedi Starfighter and Clone Sergeant's ARC-170 for the reinforcements.  

It may be tempting to skip out on Plo Koon. Don’t do that. He is a key part of the team with fantastic TM gain on his basic feeding 40% TM when he uses his basic in addition to Health up and Protection a Recharge of 45%  Do not sleep on your Plo Koon, he is absolutely a staple to Galactic Republic Fleets.

Padme Amidala is the leader of choice is given for this battle, so you definitely will want that zeta along with her other one.  Overall, this team has some good synergy, but the lack of a strong Attacker is noticeable right away. This team is the most zeta heavy and requires the most legendaries unlocked from other events in the journey guide.  C3PO requires Ewoks at G11, and Padme requires Sepratists G11+. I highly recommend farming the Sepratists required for the next tier of this event to condense the grind considerably.

4. General Kenobi (This zeta can rise higher if you have GK at G13 and a lot of Relics, but you don’t want him taunting too much if he can’t take the beating).
5. C3PO Oh My Goodness

Relic Priority:

1. General Kenobi
2. Ahsoka Tano
3. Padme
4. Shaak Ti
5. C3PO

This tier is pretty easy, and it’s mostly designed to let you feel like a god controlling General Skywalker.  A little extra motivation to get you past the final and toughest tier of the event.

-7* 17,700 B2 Super Battle Droid

-7* 17,700 IG-100 MagnaGuard

-7* 17,700 B1 Battle Droid

-7* 17,700 Droideka

Asajj Ventress is the leader character in this team, and her lead does not synergize with Separatists or Droids but instead boosts Nightsisters.  This tier is the hardest, and I hope you dedicated most of your resources to this team. I recommend the three zetas listed below, and I recommend two or three G13 characters from the Relic Priority list.
