Event Guide: The Miracle of Dragonyule

If you're looking for strategies and tips for clearing the event maps, see our The Miracle of Dragonyule - Battle Strategy Guide.

The Miracle of Dragonyule is a Facility event, featuring a new story, a short series of quests, a Boss Battle, and a Challenge Battle that pits players against waves of enemies! Rewards include a new 5* Wyrmprint, a brand new building for the Halidom, and plenty of Mana, Rupies and other goodies. The event lasts through to December 27th, ending just before the beginning of the next day.

There are several story maps to be played culminating in a Boss Battle and Challenge Battle. While the regular quests are easy to clear, the Boss and Challenge Battle require some finesse and strategy to overcome.

Event Currencies

This event has a total of four event currencies, with each being redeemable for different types of rewards.

Holiday Cheer

  • Obtained at the end of all event quests.

  • They passively unlock rewards as more are accumulated, to a max of 1,000,000.

  • By fulfilling certain requirements during a quest, more Holiday Cheer can be earned. These requirements can be checked at the end of a quest.

  • Rewards include Mana, Rupies, A Slice of Dragonyule Wyrmprints, Crystals, Wyrmprint upgrade Water, Eldwater, Golden Fragments, Looking Glasses, Testaments, Honey, Twinkling Sand, Gingerbread Men and Summon Vouchers.

  • Drop amounts can be boosted with the A Slice of Dragonyule, A Wish Upon the Yuletree, and The Prince of Dragonyule Wyrmprints.

  • The Challenge Battle: Season’s Beatings quest is the best place to get Holiday Cheer!

Astral Ornament (Bronze Background)

  • These are used to build and upgrade the new Yuletree building in the Halidom.

  • Obtainable through the event story quests and Boss Battle.

  • Drop amounts can be boosted with the A Slice of Dragonyule, Saintly Delivery, and Roast Feast Wyrmprints.

  • The Extra Boss Battle: The Brightest Star quest is the best place to get Astral Ornaments!

Gingerbread Man (Silver Background)

  • Used to exchange for items in the event Treasure Trade.

  • Obtained through completing the Daily Battle, Boss Battle, Challenge Battle and from Holiday Cheer rewards.

  • The Challenge Battle: Season’s Beatings quest is the best place to get Gingerbread Men!

Dragonyule Wreath (Gold Background)

  • Used to exchange for items in the event Treasure Trade.

  • Obtained through completing the EX Boss Battle, Challenge Battle, and from Holiday Cheer rewards.

  • The Challenge Battle: Season’s Beatings quest is the best place to get Dragonyule Wreaths!

Notable Rewards

Yuletree

  • This is a building constructed in the Halidom that grants bonuses to Water-attuned Adventurers. It also provides a massive boost to all adventurers during event quests.

  • Its building level counts toward total Facility Level, and requires a free Wyrmsmith to construct and upgrade.

  • Astral Ornaments and Rupies are used to build and upgrade the Yuletree.

  • Event endeavors reward 50 Wyrmite for upgrading the Yuletree to certain levels. It can reach a maximum level of 30!

A Slice of Dragonyule Wyrmprint

  • This 5* Wyrmprint gives +20/25% Skill Prep, and increases the yield of Astral Ornaments and Holiday Cheer by +25/50%.

  • Seven copies can be obtained in total, five from Treasure Trade and two from Holiday Cheer rewards.

  • It is highly recommended to NOT unbind this Wyrmprint until AFTER seven copies have been earned. This is because the effects stack for each party member, and four Adventurers with four bound copies will yield much greater rewards than one Adventurer with a fully unbound copy.

The Greatest Gift Wyrmprint

  • There is a second, special 5* Wyrmprint awarded for completing the story!

  • It boosts Player EXP by 10% when equipped to an Adventurer.

  • This does not stack with Euden’s Player EXP boost, only the higher of the two is applied.

  • It comes fully unbound and leveled, although provides only minimal stats.

Treasure Trade

  • A special Treasure Trade shop is available during the event.

  • Rewards include Mana, Rupies, Orbs, Testaments, Water, Twinkling Sand and Wyrm Scales.

  • Event-exclusive rewards include copies of A Slice of Dragonyule and Facility Decorations.

Getting Started

This event exclusively features Flame-attuned enemies, making Water-type allies by far the best choice. No matter which Adventurers have been summoned, Elisanne is a free unit and a decent choice for this event. If you completed the Loyalty’s Requiem Event, you might also have Celliera.

It’s highly recommended to use Mana and Crystals from the event to upgrade your Water-attuned Adventurers. Having the strongest possible Adventurer is key to scoring big in this event!

To begin, you’ll have to fight your way through the event quest maps. There are seven preliminary quests, which follow a story revolving around Euden, Cleo, Jeanne, Xander and Nefaria. Once those have been cleared, Daily Battle: Days of Dragonyule and Boss Battle: Dazzling Delusions will unlock.

Daily Battle: Days of Dragonyule

This quest can be completed once per day for substantial Astral Ornament and Gingerbread Man rewards. With a required Might of 4500, it’s not too difficult to clear, especially if you’ve already beaten the preceding story.

Efficiency Tips

Once you’ve beaten Boss Battle: Dazzling Delusions on Expert difficulty, Challenge Battle: Season’s Beatings will unlock, and is the final event quest. From here on out, you’ll want to be efficient in how you run quests in order to maximise event reward yield.

To max out the Yuletree and obtain all Holiday Cheer Rewards, you’ll need 7,816 Astral Ornaments and 1,000,000 Holiday Cheer.

  • Your first priority will be obtaining four copies of A Slice of Dragonyule, to maximise Holiday Cheer and Astral Ornament gain. Don’t buy anything else from the Treasure Trade shop until you own at least four copies in total.

  • If you got some of the summonable Wyrmprints, make sure there is an event-boosting Wyrmprint of each of your four Adventurers. And pay attention to exactly what type of currency is boosted, as 5* Wyrmprints are the only ones to boost Holiday Cheer yield.

  • Start upgrading your Yuletree as quickly as you can. In the first few hours of the event, make sure to keep visiting the Halidom to start new upgrades.

  • Because the Challenge Battle can only be fought with Stamina, it’s a good idea to use Getherwings for the Boss Battle, and save Stamina for the Challenge Battle.
