Overview

Akasha is Dragalia’s first 5★ Wind Staff user and enters the meta at an odd time. Where Lowen and Xania are traditional defensive healers, Akasha brings offensive utility with a unique Skill Gauge filling buff zone. While her kit looks great on paper, her practical uses are limited solely to the Mercurial Gauntlet. High Mercury is mostly stationary, but Akasha would constantly be on the move as the ranged baiter and therefore unable to use her own buff zone. As quad-DPS teams begin to phase out even longtime favorite Lowen, Akasha’s future looks less and less promising. 

Strengths

Substantial Regen Healing 

A forgiving 70% HP passive and continuous healing do well to counter chip damage from lesser enemies. 

Great Momentum Driver 

With 100% Skill Prep and a Skill Gauge filling S2, Akasha shaves off a significant chunk of her otherwise costly buff zone. Allies enjoy tighter rotations if they stay close.

Weaknesses

Vital Gate Positioning 

Akasha’s S2 buff zone isn’t excessively large, so melee allies may miss out its effects. Mobile or aggressive bosses may force teammates to abandon the zone entirely.

No Targeted Healing 

Akasha cannot bail out a specific injured teammate, forcing her to “waste” her primary heal on healthy allies.

Dragon Recommendations

Freyja is the supreme choice for her massive Skill Haste boost.

Garuda's higher HP makes heals more potent but less frequent.

Stribog is a functional budget alternative.
