Overview

Enemy turned ally, Alex joins the party upon completing Chapter 8 of the Story Campaign. True to her nature, the Shadow Assassin favors a more explosive, Skill-oriented playstyle as opposed to Crits and basic attacks. Given the rarity of Blindness Res, Alex finds herself at home within Light IO and stands as one of its few reliable DPS options.

Strengths

High Burst Damage

When active, Alex’s Skill Damage boost greatly synergizes with her two attack skills. She is also the first Adventurer to have Broken Punisher built into one of her skills.

Blindness Immunity

Alex becomes the third Adventurer with complete resistance to such an unforgiving affliction. This immunity easily cements her spot on Light IO teams, as any uptime is favored over the near-zero damage offered by non-immune teammates.

Weaknesses

Subpar Stats

As a freebie character, Alex’s stats are nothing spectacular, as she has one of the lowest HP stats in the game.

HP Gated

Staying in perfect health is a tall order for any frontliner. This challenge is exasperated by the lack of Shadow healers with regen, meaning there will be frequent drops in power while their primary heal recharges.

Dragon Recommendations

Marishiten reigns supreme with her 40/60% STR boost, but sadly is limited.

Juggernaut and Phantom are the next best options for raw damage.

Nidhogg and Silke provide some much-needed survivability with their hybrid boosts.
