Overview
For an android who loathes fighting, Mascula seems to have no problem eviscerating bosses. While the majority of the Dragalia cast revolves around skills and burst damage, Mascula is happy to cleave away with hyper-buffed standard attacks. Furthermore, he brings both dispel and a much needed source of Strength Amps, cementing his spot in both Agito and Dominion endgame teams.
Strengths
Strong, Consistent DamageÂ
Once under the effects of Master Control, Mascula’s kit comes online. Coupled with Amplified Current from his Skill 1 variant, Mascula’s standard attacks become broad, sweeping slashes and have noticeably longer range than normal. Mascula is also rewarded for maintaining his combo count with stacking Crit Rate and Crit Damage, further boosting his standard attack power.
Robust UtilityÂ
Mascula pumps out Strength Amps like clockwork and serves as great support for the likes of Gala Elisanne and Humanoid Mercury. To top it all off, he also comes equipped with two sources of dispel, giving Water teams a powerful alternative to Lapis.
Dual ImmunityÂ
Akin to all Gala units, Mascula sports complete resistance to all Flame-related afflictions, solidifying his viability in endgame content like Ayaha & Otoha.
Weaknesses
Combo ReliantÂ
While Skill 1 forgives combat-related mistakes, bosses with high mobility or high-pressure attacks can force Mascula to restack and lose DPS.Â

Using Mascula's initial skill, displayed at the top of his skill list, grants him a strength amp with a maximum team amp level of three. After this amp is granted, this ability will not grant it again for 20 seconds. Master Control (granted by his second skill) grants Mascula the following effects: ・His standard attacks are buffed and deal additional blows to multiple nearby targets. ・The fourth attack in his standard attack combo dispels one enemy buff. ・His attack rate is increased by 4%. ・When the combo count is 30 or higher, his strength is increased by 7%, his critical rate by 5%, and 5% is added to the modifier applied to his critical damage. When Master Control is lost, the skill gauge for Mascula's second skill will be filled by 25%. Also, Master Control will be lost upon shapeshifting. |
