Overview
Akasha co-stars in Halloween 2.0 as Water’s first Bleed user. Between DEF reduction, self-healing, and a powerful Damage-over-time effect, first thoughts may be that Akasha has some decent tools to function in the Water meta. Sadly, this is simply not the case because she leverages neither Frostbite nor Doublebuffs. For what she does have, 3% DEF reduction is rather pitiful, and her Bleed uptime leaves more to be desired. Without spiral power or more robust team support, Akasha remains more trick than treat.
Strengths
BleedÂ
A powerful Damage-over-time effect that functions independently of other afflictions. Can be stacked alongside Frostbite without fear of running up boss resistance too quickly.Â
Self-SustainÂ
Inflicting Bleed grants Akasha considerable self-healing, allowing her to stay topped off for HP-conditional Wyrmprints.
Weaknesses
Low Bleed Uptime
Skill 2 only has a base 50% chance to inflict Bleed, compared to the industry standard of 80-100% on Skill 1. In order to have a shot at viability, Akasha must use Skill 2 within the 10 second window provided by Skill 1.
Dragon Recommendations
Gaibhne & Creidhne reduce Akasha’s low SP costs even further, allowing faster S1 / S2 chaining.
Siren enhances both damage skills and notably amplifies Bleed ticks.
Leviathan provides reliable raw STR and Bog support.
Vodyanoy is a functional budget pick early on.
