Overview
Don’t be thrown off by her splash art’s revolver: Lapis debuts as Dragalia’s first rapid-fire style Manacaster and is a bonafide bullet dispenser. By holding down her Force Strike, Lapis unleashes a hail of attacks that quickly generates SP and combo counts. After capping out at three Stronger Bullet stacks, Graceful Bullet (Skill 2) serves as an excellent burst option to round out Lapis’s offensive loadout. Coupled with high-uptime Dispel, Lapis’s DPS makes a powerful statement even amidst a Karina / Doublebuff-laden meta.
Strengths
Sustained and Burst Damage Â
Because her Force Strike barrage can continue indefinitely, Lapis racks up Stronger Bullet stacks and SP at blistering speeds. With sufficient buffs, Lapis can unload an enhanced Skill 2 which already enjoys a fat 3000+% damage modifier.Â
High Dispel Uptime
2500 SP is dirt cheap, a fact compounded by Lapis’s rapid SP gains. Furthermore, dispelling an enemy buff also reduces their Water Res for a generous 30 seconds.
Weaknesses
Must Remain StationaryÂ
Endgame bosses like Ayaha & Otoha won’t always allow players to shoot unpressured. As a result, Lapis's otherwise endless barrage is often interrupted.
Expends Stronger Bullets
Unlike Doublebuff abusers like Karina, Lapis exhausts her Stronger Bullet buffs with each Skill 2 cast and must restack via combo counts or Dispelling enemy buffs.
