Overview
Linnea is the deuteragonist of the United Front showcase and quite the unusual Blade user. Much like Zhu Bajie, Linnea wants to sit still and charge increasingly devastating Force Strikes. Linnea sacrifices typical Blade mobility to gain considerable range backed by both knockback resistance and damage reduction. With proper timing and positioning, Linnea can repeatedly chunk bosses from a safe distance.
Strengths
Immense Burst Potential
All aspects of Linnea’s kit come together to accord enhanced, quick-charging Force Strikes. Level 3 adds a Poisoned Punisher effect, meshing well with the majority of the Shadow roster.
Force Strike Chaining
Upon successfully landing a fully charged Force Strike, Bliss Eternal will fill instantly, enabling back to back casts with no downtime.
Weaknesses
Tricky Timing and Positioning
Linnea's DPS will stall considerably if she's hit before fully charging her FS, as filling Bliss Eternal will require additional standard attacks. Furthermore, Bliss Eternal robs Linnea of typical Blade user mobility, likening her ideal state to an Axe user.
Skill 2 Cycling
Lycoris Refrain alternates between two effects, so the coveted Force Strike charge rate boost essentially has a 10,000+ SP cost.
Dragon Recommendations
Fatalis grants the highest boost to raw damage but heavily discourages Shapeshifting.
Marishiten is a suitable STR alternative, offering Bleed via her active.
Chthonius is ideal for Shapeshift-heavy content such as Raids.
Juggernaut provides a usable level of STR and is easily accessible.
