Overview
Although sharing an archetype with Curran, Summer Patia plays quite unlike him. Unique even among other special Force Strikers, Patia is entirely skill-reliant for DPS; Sparrow Spiker serves primarily as a means of SP gain. Her high burst potential is underscored by her utility, namely DEF reduction, Poison, and Anti-Poison boosts which allow her to tango alongside the big names of the Shadow roster.
Strengths
Nontraditional Axe UserÂ
Several issues have plagued Axes since launch: mobility, range, and SP gains. Patia suffers from none of these, attacking on the go with her unique Force Strike. At full charge, this Force Strike will grant 1400 SP and what do you know, both her skill costs are multiples of 1400.Â
Poison InsuredÂ
Patia’s two sources of Poison mean that uptime is fairly high. Furthermore, Patia doesn’t lose DPS even after boss resistance maxes out due to Anti-Poison = Strength, making her ideal for longer fights.Â
Weaknesses
Cannot Use Cat Sìth Effectively
Patia’s playstyle doesn’t allow for 25-hit combo stacking, placing her at a noticeable disadvantage when compared to top tier Shadow picks.
Dragon Recommendations
Shinobi is the prime choice for his unconditional 90% Skill Damage boost.
Fatalis offers astronomical raw STR but heavily discourages Shapeshifting.
Andromeda is ideal if playing towards Patia’s Chain Co-ability.
Juggernaut provides a usable 45% STR for newer players.
