Overview
Truly a sight for sore eyes, Summer Verica brings much needed Blind removal to the Shadow roster. Verica has arguably the highest healing potential in the game between her regen heal and teamwide lifesteal effect. With Moment of Passion, allies top themselves off over the course of 30 whole seconds, removing the need for individually targeted healing entirely.
Furthermore, mana spirals have granted Verica access to the coveted overdamage. Combined with copious healing over time, Verica is a veritable counter to otherwise stifling mechanics like Corrosion.
Strengths
Fantastic Recovery
Verica has no problem maintaining her allies’ %HP passives with her primary regen healing. Moment of Passion allows her teammates to keep themselves at full health by lifestealing off residual damage. Regen healing is basically a requirement to outpace Corrosion found in Sinister Dominion quests.
Excellent Support
One of few who carry it, Verica sees wide usage even as a shared skill. Additional damage plus shredding combo-count mechanics is paramount to success. As icing on the cake, Verica also helps out with strength amp stacking a bit.
Weaknesses
Moment of Passion Downtime
Verica’s Skill 2 only charges when her Skill 1 is off cooldown, encouraging sub-optimal usage of her primary heal. Moment of Passion is also independent of the superb SP gains of Staff users.
HP Gated
Verica loses almost half of her Recovery Potency when below perfect health. Luckily, her primary heal is up often to help maintain full HP.
Dragon Recommendations
Azazel is easily best in slot for his massive Skill Haste boost.
High Zodiark / Nidhogg are solid hybrid options.
Ebisu is a usable budget pick.
