Overview
The Meandering Mage Xania is a 3★ Flame Wand user with a kit designed to make her enemies go up in smoke. Her S1, Ivyblaze, is a line damage skill, whereas Pyroblossom is a target-centered AoE blast. With the advent of Mana Spirals, Xania has surpassed the vast majority of the Flame roster to become one of the top DPS in her element. Her skills now both inflict Burn and hit like trucks, and she can level all the way to 100, boosting her stats mightily. The best change though is that she is now 100% Stun resistant, making her a great pick for a ton of content.Â
Strengths
Excellent Skill Damage Kit
Xania’s kit is well optimized for ranged nuking with skills, with double-damaging Abilities that Burn and a good passive.
Mana Spiral Boost
As one of the first Adventurers to get access to the Mana Spiral, Xania now has excellent stats and complete Stun resistance.Â
Weaknesses
Requires Team Support
Xania is still squishy even with her boosted stats, and either needs a defensive wyrmprint or a defensive co-ability to guarantee survival against the opening blast of Master High Midgardsormr.
Dragon Recommendations
- Gala Mars: Knock knock, who's there? POWER CREEP.Â
- Apollo: Thanks to Xania's now Burn focused kit, Apollo's punisher ability is one of the best for her.Â
- Konohana Sakuya: With double damage dealing nukes, Xania really enjoys Konohana, though she's just ever so slightly inferior to Apollo under ideal circumstances.Â
- Agni/Cerberus: The two 5★ STR dragons are both excellent options, with Cerberus being slightly better if all else is equal.
- Prometheus: His strength boost and Wind Resistance will shore up a lot of Xania’s fragility if other options are not available.Â
- Ifrit: A budget 4★ choice to augment Xania’s Strength.
- Pele: The budget F2P Dragon of choice for Flame Adventurers.
Weapon Recommendations
- BrÃsingr: Available from Volk, this weapon is the pinnical of weapons engineering in Dragalia, and the end goal for all serious Xania players.Â
- Infernoblaze and Muspelheim: Great weapons to craft for Expert High Dragon Trials, and Infernoblaze is excellent for Master HMS and all other content. It isn't quite as good as Volk's weapon, but it's still amazing.Â
- Chimeratech Sorcerer and Chimertech Archmage: Really, you should just upgrade to a Chimeratech Archmage, as the Sorcerer is mostly just a step towards it. Still, the Sorcerer is powerful, but the Archmage is a great way to break into the High Dragon Trial cycle.Â
- Terranigmus: The 5★ IO wand is now the baseline of acceptable weapons, but really doesn't stack up to the newer offerings.Â
- Scepter of Infinite Fire: With 50% skill prep and a 20% damage boost against High Midgardsormr, this Void Wand is a decent starting option for standard HMS, but frankly you should just get the Chimeratech weapons.Â

With Xania's new Burn focused kit, hands down her best print options are Candy Couriers and Elegant Escort to maximize both skill damage and Burn punisher.Â
However, those are both limited prints, and if you don't have access to them, Resounding Rendition can substitute for Candy Couriers, while Jewels of the Sun can swap in for Elegant Escort.Â
