Overview
The Timorous Paladyn started out as the only native 5★ Axe user in Dragalia Lost. Despite her faint-heartedness, she remains one of, if not the toughest unit in the game due to her endurance-based kit. Glorious Guard and Last Recovery are huge survivability boosts, while the Axe Co-Ability keeps the entire party from walking on eggshells. Mana spirals granted her self-healing on her primary skill, ensuring that the only way she can feasibly die is by being one-shot. Although lacking in flashy standout traits, Julietta strikes a healthy balance between other tanks and glass cannons.
Strengths
Juggernaut
Mana spirals took an already beefy tank and added free healthcare. With healing on her primary skill, a 50% DEF boost, and Last Recovery, Julietta is the undisputed tank of Dragalia. A 50% STR boost is nothing to sleep on, and knockback immunity allows her to power through and complete standard attack chains unhindered.
Weaknesses
Vulnerable to Curse
Julietta loses access to much of her resilience if Cursed, which is accentuated by her long Skill 1 cast time and slow-swinging axe.
Knockback Immunity
This buff can easily but both ways by forcing Julietta to facetank damage that would have otherwise been avoided during knockback iframes.
Dragon Recommendations
Gala Thor suits Julietta's burst style, nicely complimenting her Skill 1 with Energy.
Gala Reborn Jeanne offers a more consistent boost to baseline damage.
Daikokuten is a solid DPS option if combo counts can be maintained.
