Should You Summon?

Overall Verdict: There is a lot to like here, especially if you are missing good Flame-attuned Adventurers and Dragons. Additionally, Hildegarde and the Dragons are perfect for taking on High Midgardsormr. The Chocolatiers is an interesting Wyrmprint that might open new strategies in the future. This is a great banner for Flame, so dig in if you feel the need to upgrade your barracks.

In this article, I’ll be running over the rated up Adventurers, Dragons and Wyrmprints in order to help you make an informed decision whether or not you should summon on this banner.

As everyone has different priorities and budgets, the advice and analysis given may not apply to you. Ultimately, you should consider your own unique situation before deciding to summon.

But since Wyrmite/Diamantium is is a valuable currency for everyone, it’s always a good idea to consider the options before taking the plunge!

Warning! This banner is partially exclusive!

All of the Adventurers, the five-star Wyrmprints and the three-star Wyrmprint are limited, and won’t be available through regular summoning after this banner. However, Prometheus (the five-star Dragon) and Entwined Flames (the four-star Wyrmprint) can appear from regular summoning after this banner.

The Tenfold Summon Voucher

The recent update has granted everyone a free Tenfold Summon Voucher. Although it might be tempting to use immediately, please remember that the voucher has no expiry date, meaning it can be saved and used on future banners.

Adventurers

Hildegarde is a fantastic Adventurer with a huge healing output, and will certainly stand as one of the best healers. Ezelith is a damage dealer with decent power and the rare ability to reduce a foe’s defense. Valentine’s Orion is not particularly noteworthy as there are many better Flame sword users.

Valentine’s Hildegarde, Rosy Saint

  • Valentine’s Hildegarde is a Flame-attuned Staff user who can be summoned at five-star rarity.

  • She makes use of the energy system, and can increase the energy of everyone on her team.

  • Valentine’s Hildegarde has Stun Res +100%, making her perfect for fighting Midgardsormr and High Midgardsormr.

  • Striking Strength Debilitator is an interesting mechanic that allows her to provide support to her teammates through debuffs.

  • Thanks to Skill Prep +100%, she can start healing as soon as is necessary and immediately provide three levels of energy to her whole team.

  • Because she has multiple effects on each skill, the SP costs for both of her skills are very high. This is Valentine Hildegarde’s primary weakness.

  • If you’ve already trained up Verica, Valentine’s Hildegarde is an upgrade in many ways. However, her high SP costs will mean Verica is still a useful Adventurer.

Valentine’s Ezelith, Stunning Sweetheart

  • Valentine’s Ezelith is a Flame-attuned Bow user who can be summoned at four-star rarity.

  • She’s a damage dealer with two attacking skills and the ability to build up energy quickly with 35 Hits = Energy Level Up.

  • Both of her skills cause enemies to take additional damage: Floral Explosion causes a burn, but Piercing Rose reduces enemy defense by 10%.

  • Stun Res +100% means Valentine’s Ezelith is perfect for taking on Midgardsormr and High Midgardsormr.

  • Thanks to Broken Punisher +20%, she excels at dealing damage during enemy Break phases.

  • She’s a great alternative to Gala Sarisse, although lacks some strength in comparison.

Valentine’s Orion, Valentine’s Guardian

  • Valentine’s Orion is a Flame-attuned Sword user who can be summoned at three-star rarity.

  • He comes with a mix of damage and support, and can inflict Burn with his Spinning Brulee attack.

  • He is the first Adventurer with the ability to trigger his own Strength Doublebuff. His ability to raise the team’s defense is great for difficult content.

  • Unfortunately, he has Curse Res +50% and Curse Res +25%. This means that he fails to resist Stun or Sleep, the two classic status afflictions present in Wind-attuned maps.

  • He is severely lacking in comparison to other Flame-attuned Adventurers, and there are many better choices such as Euden, Naveed, and Karl.

Dragons

Both of these are great dragons, and are the perfect companions for the Adventurers on this banner. Prometheus has lower damage than Cerberus and Agni, he will make it much easier to survive. In particular, he will make it easier to survive the fight with High Midgardsormr. Phoenix is a best-in-class Dragon and the best choice for Flame-attuned healers such as Valentine’s Hildegarde.

Prometheus, Reclusive Flame

  • He is a Flame-attuned Dragon who grants +35/50% to Strength, and +15% Resistance to Wind-attuned enemies.

  • Prometheus is a great alternative to Cerberus and Agni for ranged Adventurers or those with low base HP.

  • His Aura seems designed to help people access and beat High Midgardsormr.

  • His Skill is a regular damage-dealing attack with no other properties.

Phoenix, Bewitching Immortal

  • Phoenix is a Flame-attuned Dragon who grants +30/45% to HP when equipped.

  • She is coveted for her Skill, which provides a huge amount of healing to her whole team. Phoenix can fully heal a team with just one tick of her Special.

  • She is currently the best Dragon for Flame-attuned healers, which includes Valentine’s Hildegarde.

Wyrmprints

While the Chocolatiers is a great Wyrmprint, there is little else to love here in the realm of prints.

The Chocolatiers

  • This five-star Wyrmprint boosts Skill Prep by 50/100%.

  • It is by far the biggest Skill Prep print, and likely represents an attempt to rebalance the power of Skill prep.

  • This is a great print for healers, since it allows them to begin healing immediately from the beginning of a quest.

The Rose Prince

  • Another confusing five-star Wyrmprint, it allows a Flame-attuned Adventurer to resist afflictions 1/3 times, and grants them a one-time shield that nullifies a hit less than 10/20% of the user’s max HP.

  • This Wyrmprint can let units resist afflictions they don’t resist (It could let Euden resist Sleep, for instance).

  • The affliction resistance only works once unless the Wyrmprint is fully unbound, making it an expensive effect.

  • Because most dangerous hits deal much more than 20% damage, the shield effect is not very useful.

Entwined Flames

  • This four-star Wyrmprint boosts Dragon Damage by 6/10%, increasing the damage dealt while in dragon form.

  • However, other prints boost damage by 10% all the time, giving this Wyrmprint very limited effectiveness.

Destiny’s Hand

  • This four-star Wyrmprint grants 5/8% Recovery Potency and 10/15% Skill Prep.

  • It’s clearly meant for healers, and is a decent Wyrmprint due to the Recovery Potency effect.

  • The 15% Skill Prep amount is very lackluster, and means almost nothing in the long run. Ultimately, there are better Wyrmprint choices.

To My Beloved

  • This three-star Wyrmprint grants 10/15% Skill Prep.

  • It’s a useless Wyrmprint that makes practically no difference to Skill charge in the long run.

  • There are many better Wyrmprints that grant Skill Prep, as well as more useful effects such as Skill Damage or Recovery Potency.
