Mym, you know I love Dragon Specials. But I’ve got the Halidom’s first anniversary to plan, a princess to rescue, a Euden to send to party rehab, and trying to find a way to pay for all of it! I’m swamped.

Burninating the Peasants

In a world where increasingly powerful dragons like Pop Star Siren exist-- and a future Skill Damage Light Dragon is on the horizon-- Liger is simply outdone. While he has never really had a strong place in the meta, these days he really doesn’t have one at all. Plus, you can now grind for High Jupiter, who is frankly just as good if not better than Liger in just about every way and is free.
Verdict: No. Don’t summon for Liger.
Ah, Cupid. When he shows up, everyone knows when the day is out we’re going to have a wedding, or kill a boss. Either way, we’re going to have a lot of fun, huh?

Despite the slow power creep of 60% Strength dragons over the course of the past year, they’re still in a good spot in the meta. Cupid is in an especially good place, offering both offense and defense thanks to his active heal along with a crit buff. Light also currently lacks any dragon that truly competes with Cupid for the top slot as a DPS dragon, but that is something that is certain to change sooner rather than later.
As such, while it is currently a good investment to summon for Cupid, for how long things will remain that way is most definitely unsure. If you do summon for Cupid, it would be wise not to spend too much.
Verdict: Yes, but don’t go overboard.

Darling, if I were going to make a silly reference, I would tell you that it is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife. Hence why my Darling Euden must be in want of me!

Honestly, there isn’t a lot to say about Nidhogg. He’s completely outclassed in every way by Shinobi and Marishiten. I might suggest using him on a healer, but Heinwald is the current meta healer, and he’d rather use Shinobi too. Mixed dragons have seriously fallen out of favor, and Nidhogg is no exception. And again, with High Zodiark here at last, Nidhogg will have a free alternative that outclasses him as well.
Verdict: No. Mixed dragons are now a terrible gatcha dragon thanks to all High Dragons being available, and their poor stat distribution.
What is this, a single unbound lesser dragon? Why, we’re going to need a dragon that’s at least...FIVE TIMES more unbound than this!
Lindworm and Juggernaught are both fine budget choices that you can MUB through the Void Shop. Silke on the other hand has drastically fallen out of favor. I wouldn’t even spend moonlight stones on her, as you’re far better off saving those for either pure STR or pure HP dragons. This is due to mixed 4★ dragons only going up to a 20/20% boost, instead of a 45% boost for pure dragons.
Verdict: No. Still don’t summon here. It’s easy enough to get 4★ dragons by other means.

On the Summon Rates for this Banner:
- Featured 5★ Dragons are at .8% each, for a combined total of 2.4%
- Off focus 5★ dragons share a .85% chance to be pulled
- There are no focus 5★ Adventurers. All 5★ Adventurers share a .75% chance of being pulled.
- The featured 4★ dragons each have a 2.33% chance of being pulled for a combined 7% pull chance.
Well my dears, it looks as though you’re stuck with me! And really, since you have me, why should you even bother summoning for my cousins? Even that boy Cupid simply pales beside a dragon such as I. For I am fire and love! And also death. But I prefer not to talk about it in polite company.

The anniversary is a week away, and this banner simply doesn’t have anything worthwhile to offer aside from Cupid. If you absolutely lack any light Dragons I might consider summoning, but honestly even then you’re likely better off waiting for the anniversary.
