Omega Chronos Raid Guide

Submit Feedback or Error

Intro

Dragalia ups the Raid Event ante with the Omega difficulty, blowing Nightmare out of the water. Featuring Raid boosts and a new solo mode, veterans will find themselves with little support and unforgiving bosses. Despite being a daunting challenge, players can succeed with the help of moveset knowledge, AI manipulation, and some luck.

Preparation

Given the nature of Omega difficulty, it's highly recommended to have at least one of two assets:

  • Gala Cleo
  • Rare Raid Boosts (Skill Damage, Crit Rate, Dragon's Bane, Overdrive Punisher, etc.)

Teams without sufficient Rare Raid boosts may wish to forgo a healer and run four DPS adventurers. In general, here are some baseline goals to shoot for:

  • Raid Boosts (not rare) MAXED
  • 50 Mana Circles
  • 5★ Core elemental weapons (no unbinds is okay)
  • Max Unbound Strength Dragons
    • Main DPS: One 5★ Gacha
    • Subs: Max Unbound Juggernauts
  • Shadow Altar MAXED (x2)
  • Dojos Lv. 31+ (x2)
  • Library Obscura MAXED
  • Poison Slime Statue MAXED
  • Shadow Fafnir / Dracolith as high as possible

For players that are facing difficulty with AI survival, the following suggestions can alleviate some of the pressure from Chronos' numerous attacks. Do note that players should still make a conscious effort to try to move out of danger whenever possible, as AI death can still occur in the blink of an eye if left unattended:

  • Adventurer with Phoenix or Freyja equipped
  • Patia with Healing Doublebuff wyrmprints equipped for the entire team

Chronos Attack Rotation

General Notes

This guide will refer to Hands (Left / Right) from the player's perspective. This means "attack the Right Hand" actually concerns Chronos's labeled "Left Hand".

After breaking a Hand, AI teammates cannot target Chronos from that side. Only the center head area or an unbroken Hand will have a targetable reticle for teammates to attack.

Bite

Chronos lunges forward down the center column of the map. Begin by running to the left half of the map.

Carnage Ray

Purple Marker attack that covers the entire front row. Pull back all melee adventurers at this time.

carnage ray

(Right) Fist Slam

Chronos will slam down his Right Hand, hitting the entire map. The area directly surrounding the Hand is a Purple Marker and deals heavy damage, while the remainder is a Red Marker that deals minor damage. These Markers are independent of whether or not the Hand has been broken.

NOTE: Rotating between the hands is critical because there is not enough time to get clear of a Purple Marker if the targeted hand is slammed.

fist slam

Beam Cannon

Chronos charges then fires a wide Purple Marker laser down the center column of the map.

beam cannon

Light Pillar

Circular Red Marker aimed at the controlled character.

Cross over to the right side of the map during this time.

Channel Phraeganoth

Chronos uses Volcanic Ruin, summoning destructible Magma Spots. After reaching full charge, these Spots will detonate and inflict Burn.

Shapeshift for increased mobility and AOE basic attacks. Target the two center Spots followed by the rightmost spot.

Fog Breath

Immediately after Channel Phraeganoth, Chronos will use Fog Breath, a conical Purple Marker which will invariably make targeting some Magma Spots difficult.

channel phraeganoth + fog breath

Roar Pulse

Chronos rears back, then hits the entire map for minor damage (can be iframed).

(Left) Fist Slam

Light Pillar

Slaughtering Ray

Variant of Carnage Ray that targets both the front and rear rows with Purple Markers.

Cross over to the left side of the map during this time.

Beam Cannon

(Right) Fist Slam

Channel Valfarre

Chronos uses Cross Claw, a lattice of Purple Markers with small safe “cells”. Destroying one or both Hands opens up the lattice significantly, creating more safe spaces. Inflicts Bog.

Chronos Nyx Attack Rotation

General Notes:

Chronos Nyx has numerous afflictions at his disposal alongside an arsenal of wide AOE attacks. It's highly recommended to bring a healer, preferably one capable of purging a non-Paralysis affliction.

Try not to use Skills off cooldown. There are several instances where dodging is not possible and iframing with Skills is the only reliable way to avoid damage. Prioritize survival over DPS, as keeping your AI teammates alive is key to success.

Bait Nyx towards the map's southern half as often as possible. This allows the player to easily hug the outer perimeter and avoid map-centered attacks such as the Black Holes and Scorched Lightning.

Charge

Wide, linear Purple Marker attack. Breaking the Tail turns this attack into a Red Marker.

Time Stop

Nyx temporarily freezes all adventurers in place.

Tidal Storms, Torrent Stream OR Light Storm

Nyx summons three Purple Marker rings in a venn diagram formation, followed by a barrage of linear Red Markers. Inflicts Bog.

Wandering Bolts

Similar to Shishimai’s tops, three lightning bolts will rove around the map, inflicting Paralysis to any in their path.

Wind Blast

Nyx forms an assortment of circular Red Markers that rotate into a cross shape. Inflicts Stun.

Blast Burn

Nyx follows up with a field of square Red Markers in an X-formation. Inflicts Burn.

Black Holes

Nyx summons two black holes along the map’s equator, sucking in adventurers within their radius and inflicting Curse.

Implosion

Quick-charging, self-centered Red Marker that inflicts Burn.

Time Stop

Light Storm OR Tidal Storms, Torrent Stream

Akin to Torrent Stream, inflicts Stun.

light storm

Dimensional Shift, Causality Reversal

Nyx teleports to the center of the map, then warps all present to an interstellar space.

Dimensional Oblivion

A continuous hail of Red Marker meteors rains down upon the map as Nyx begins charging a wipe mechanic. Dealing enough damage to the “Weak Point” will interrupt the process and return everybody to the standard map. Failure to meet this DPS check will result in a team wipe.

dimensional oblivion

Tail Spin

Quick, self-centered Purple Marker. Breaking the Tail turns this attack into a Red Marker.

Hellish Winds

Combining Wandering Bolts and Black Holes, three vortexes will suck in nearby adventurers and drag them around the map. Shapeshifting or using any Skill will free adventurers from their grasp.

Scorched Lightning

Four lightning bolts appear near the map’s edge, quickly spiraling towards the center and culminating in a cross-shaped pulse.
