Welcome back friends! Today we’re looking over the rated-up Adventurers and Dragons from the Beauty in Motion banner. There’s some new, some old, and some... questionable.

I’ve heard there are some familiar faces in the crowd this time.

There sure are! But uh, when you see who it is, please promise you won’t be disappointed!

Overall Verdict

Should You Summon? No

This banner has some flair, and although Yachiyo introduces new Abilities, the Adventurers fail to stand out compared to Annelie, Albert and Odetta. Zardin expands the Energy capabilites of the Light roster, but is otherwise introduces little more to the permanent pool. Takemikazuchi isn’t as powerful as Cupid or Gilgamesh, and although Norwin is stronger than Nefaria, he is ultimately reliant on afflictions and far from a top DPS candidate.

For added variety and cute characters, this banner is a go! But for those seeking the most value, save your Wyrmite for a new mechanic or highly versatile Adventurer.

Adventurers

Featured Items: Beautician Zardin, LucretiaYachiyo, Norwin.

  • Beautician Zardin (5★, 0.5%)

  • Lucretia (5★, 0.5%)

  • Yachiyo (4★, 2.33%)

  • Norwin (4★, 2.33%)

BZardin

Euden: Ok.. first up is the Light-attuned Blade user, Zardin! Wait, Zardin?!

This version of Zardin comes at 5★ rarity and has Poison Resistance! This (plus the range on his awesome Blade) make him a good candidate for Imperial Onslaught.

He has three ways to energise himself: His two active skills, and his Striker’s Energy passive ability. Ah! He’s too selfish! Suits him, the narcissist.

He’s quite similar to Julietta: Both Light Adventurers with Poison Resistance, who rely on waves of enemies to strengthen themself. Although his personality is the opposite of hers…

Lucretia

Our next Adventurer is… Lucretia! She’s a Light Wand user who can be summoned at five stars. And her voice will take you to a different planet…

Lucretia’s not a new Adventurer, but is a decent damage dealer and is one of the few five 5★ Light units to have Curse Resistance.

She uses energy as well. But unlike that jerk Zardin, she shares her energy with the rest of the team!

Unfortunately, Lucretia’s skills have long charge times which means she’s not as potent as Albert, Annelie, Odetta or Halloween Elisanne.

Yachi

Anyway, next is Yachiyo. Finally, a new face around the halidom!

Yachiyo is another Light Blade user, but she can be summoned at 4★, and has Curse Resistance.

Oh, so she’s a nice takeaway for those who can’t summon Zardin. In fact, I would much rather just have h-

Quiet! Anyway, Yachiyo specialises in Paralysis. She can Paralyze foes with Blossom Flash, and gets a sweet damage boost against them with Paralyzed Punisher.

Sounds good, but that also means she won’t be as useful against foes who can’t be Paralyzed.

Norwin

Last but certainly not least, is the Anguished Author, Norwin! He’s a Shadow-attuned Archer who can be summoned at 4★ rarity.

He’s a damage dealer who can inflict Blind on his enemies. He also gets a damage boost when hitting a Blinded foe!

It’s not just that! With his Blindness = Team Strength ability, Norwin will buff his whole team’s Strength once he Blinds a foe. And did we mention he’s also immune to Blind?

Seems that like Yachiyo, he’s very reliant on Blind. Kind of like a slightly better version of Nefaria?

Dragons

Featured Items: Takemikazuchi, Unicorn

  • Takemikazuchi (5★, 0.5%)

  • Unicorn (4★, 2.33%)

What’s with Dragons these days having unpronounceable names? Ok, our new Dragon is… Takemikazuchi! He’s Light-attuned and can be summoned at 5★ rarity!

Giving a +30/40% Strength Boost and an extra +20/25% from Overdrive Punisher means this guy is tailored for damage-dealers. Although he’s not quite as strong as Cupid or Gilgamesh...

But, he’s just PERFECT for the Manticore Void Battle. And he’s still better than Lindworm!

Our other rated-up Dragon is Unicorn, a 4★ Light Dragon.

Talk about Beauty in Motion! Unicorn’s +30/45% HP bonus is perfect for healers like Hildegarde and Vixel!

Although when given the choice, Light healers would rather have Jeanne instead.
