Should You Summon: Light Didn't Learn their Lesson Edition

Should you Summon?

The answer is the same.

Disclaimer: The opinions below are written by GamePress and do not actually reflect Nintendo, Cygames, or the fairy Notte's and Mym's opinions... probably. If they somehow do, it's merely coincidental!

Instead of Notte, you find a sign waiting for you:

Bored now. Gone to bake cookies. Back when the banner doesn't suck again. Or Anniversary. Or if you have pizza.

HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TEACH YOU THIS LESSON OLD MAN

Nottes to do list:
1. Lose 5 ounces
2. Finish watching Re:Zero Season 2
3. Save for Anniversary
4. Complain about Light roster

This banner is marginally better than the first time we had a Light focus. But marginally better than absolute garbage is still, in fact, garbage. The real redemption here is that Radiant Xuan Zang and now Lucretia are now pretty darn good in Light.

Problem is, you're seriously better off building Elisanne or Patia at this point in time to clear Expert Tartarus. I've run through using both Light teams and Cheese Squads, and it is seriously easier to use Eli than it is to try to build a Light Adventurer. Check out our new guide by ABoxofTime for a reference on the Cheese off element run.

Plus, Light is still dominated by limited Adventurers. Now it's Gala Luca, Gala Prince, and Halloween Elissane instead of Mitsuhide, but it's still true.

Verdict: No.

Fun fact about Notte: Her favorite kind of cookies are actually Peanut Butter Nobakes. Here's a recipe! It's more helpful than the banner.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup cocoa powder
3 1/2 cups thick rolled oats
1 cup peanut butter (Notte prefers chunky, but smooth with do)
1 tbps vanilla
1 pinch salt

Melt butter in sauce pan, add milk, sugar, and cocoa, bring to boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter, salt, and vanilla. Add mixture to oats. Cool on wax or parchment paper (works best if you refrigerate). Serve chilled. Delicious over vanilla ice cream in summer.

Serves 1 hungry fairy, or if you're feeling generous, 8-10 Adventurers.

Hey. You know how Daikokuten was the best Light Dragon? Well, now it's Thor. And Daikokuten is probably the second best. Guess who are both not on this banner?

Verdict: No. Seriously, limited dragons are out of control. Try the cookies though, they're really good. Unless you have a peanut butter allergy. Then don't.

Final Verdict

About the Rates:

It doesn't matter. Don't pull.

Sigh. Fine. Here they are.

Only Light units in the pool.

  • 5★ Adventurers are at the normal, unboosted rate of 2%. You have a .1.81% chance to get any Light Adventurer 5★. So not worth it.
  • 5★ Dragons are at the normal, unboosted rate of 2%. You have a .25% chance to get any of them. So don't bother.
  • The rest of it doesn't matter. DO NOT PULL. Seriously.

Final Verdict: Most people still prefer Chocolate Chip.

Honestly I'm a big fan of snickerdoodles myself, but my real favorite are White Cocolate Macnut cookies. Especially if you can get some fresh macnuts from the farmers market. Which is pretty hard unless you live in Hawaii, but they're good even if you can't. I also recommend coconut macaroons and if you want to try something new, Craisin White Chocolate Oatmeal cookies are pretty tasty IMO.

Oh, the banner? It sucks. Wait for Anniversary.
