EARTHREE and Legilis - Should You Pull?

Today we see the new EARTHREE GUNDAM, which was recently announced as the main gunpla in Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE, a successor to the hit anime series Gundam Build Divers! I’m excited to see what kind of gunpla it ends up being, and hopefully that’ll give us a little morsel of information of what it’ll be like in the anime. Alright, well, let’s DIVE in and see how it goes!
This week we got 1640 Haro Chips, and here’s how:

- 170 - Arena Participation
Let’s set up some ground rules so you know exactly what to expect and how you should be treating this!
This is entirely my opinion, but I will do my best to justify my opinion and explain to you why I feel a certain way. If at all possible, I’ll use real numbers as well and present an objective outlook before my opinion.
Do not pull on the banner hoping for a single Part. It’s 0.2% for a single Part, which is 50x 10-pulls or 500 pulls. In terms of real money, that’s 5,400 USD.
SS is considered meta defining, S is meta, A is great, B is average, C is below average, D is considered well below average, and F is awful. Parts are compared to all other Parts as a whole and on how well they synergize with other Parts. This means a 4* and a 3* would be compared to everything as low as a 1* to as high as other 4*s.
There are some notations which aren’t immediately obvious:
An EX Skill with D/B at 21/6 CD means it has a D in Power, B in Piercing, a 21 second cooldown, and it’s available for use 6 seconds after the match starts.
All stats, letters, and numbers are at Max Value.
With all of that out of the way, let’s get right into the new banner and what we’re looking at this week!
This week is a normal banner, which means it will be going to Standard Gunpla Parts Capsule 2 when the week is up.
Banner Grade: D-
Summary: This banner has a 0.4% (1.32%) chance of drawing something above average, and a 0% (ZERO%) chance of drawing something of great value or higher.
The only reason this doesn’t get an F is it’s not quite a 0% chance to draw something good. This is easily the worst banner we’ve ever had, with even the A Parts failing to be noteworthy. Some gunpla are a note of prestige, like Shining or Nu. This one should garner only laughter for actually pulling on it.
I would skip.

EARTHREE GUNDAM
Head: C
We start off with slightly above average S.Atk and another Head sporting vulcans. I’m so sick of seeing vulcans. Lord Almighty give me strength. I’ll need it if I see another Head with vulcans.
Chest: B
Completely average stats with a decent Part Trait. Luckily, this Part is slightly better for being a Chest with Protag. The nice part here is that it increases Buff type EX Skills by 22% when you have more than 40% armor. Finally, a 4* Support Part!
Arms: B
The EARTHREE Arms are packed with Defenses at 1179 for both, making them similar to Zeta. The M.Atk is so average that it’s the same value as Artemis, sitting at 2377. The Part Trait, penetrating Super Armor 15% of the time, is… uh… well, it exists.
Legs: B+
These Legs have average Defenses and Resistances, but below average Armor. However, none of this matters, because its Part Trait boosts Long Shot attack by 20% with Beam Weapons. So, these Legs are pretty nifty for shooters in spite of the Protag. Word Tag.
Backpack: B-
These are the most generic stats I’ve ever seen. Not just on the Backpack, but on the whole set, but ESPECIALLY the Backpack, which is boasting average in all stats. Every. Single. One. Also, it has dual saber rush like so many other purple Backpacks. This one is D/B+ with 21/3 CD, for those keeping notes.
Beam Saber [EARTHREE]: B
Something with actually above average stats, finally! This is sitting at 3173, which isn’t anything too special. I mean, it’s not top tier or anything, but it’s close enough and it comes with the Protag. Word Tag. It basically doesn’t have a Part Trait, though.
Beam Rifle [EARTHREE]: B
Hello again my old friend. I’ve come to see you again. Mr. Average Stats, how are you? Average EX Skill too, D/B+ and 21/6s.
Shield: B
Exactly average stats with an average Part Trait of boosting Beam Weapon Magazine by 20%.
Aesthetics: A
It looks pretty cool. I’m happy to say this prickly blue cactus is its only A Grade.
Legilis Gundam
I’d like to start by apologizing for sounding like a broken record. I didn’t phone this in or anything; this banner is honestly just super generic and has nothing really going for it. I was really hype for this banner, and I hope Legilis gives me something to sink my teeth into. Sorry in advance if it’s me repeating myself. I really am.
Head: B-
Here we have a Head that boosts Projectile Speed by 15%. Everybody point and laugh. Also, average stats.
Chest: B+
With above average Armor and average stats aside, you must be thinking I was going to say it also has an average EX Skill. You thought right. A/D 60/15s and honestly I think Pierce is a really lame speciality for EX Skills, so moving on.
Arms: A-
These Arms have a great EX Skill A-/D at 60/0s. You read that right, 0s, which means WE HAVE A MAGAZINE SKILL. It has 11 ammo too! There is a God!
Legs: A-
With average stats, these Legs barely squeak into A- using their patented “Legs get all the good Part Traits” skill. This one is a very solid 20% CD Reduction if you have a Saber equipped.
Backpack: B-
This time around we have below average stats but a decent EX Skill with A/D and 21/3s. It’s still Piercing focused though, so you can’t win ‘em all.
Legilis Rifle: B+
With average stats, this R. Weapon sets itself apart with the Part Trait, which reduces Initial EX Skill CD by 20%! Lovin’ it.
Shield: B
With below average stats and a funnel EX Skill sitting at A/D and 60/15s, I can’t really say this is a good Part. Funnels are just really bad in this game.
Aesthetics: A+
The Legolas Gundam looks pretty nifty all things considered, but I am absolutely IN LOVE with how that Backpack looks. I’m pretty mad it’s locked to 4* Purgatory because I really really want it!
AI Pilots Haman Karn (4*) and Yazan Gable (3*)
Banner Grade: C+
AAA
Pilot: B
Haman Karn is a Long Shooter with 1602 S.Atk, allowing her to tie for highest S.Atk. Unfortunately, her Word Tags and Part Trait “Job Gauge boosted 17% with Power attribute” are pretty bad, making her a good alternative to Amuro, but not a good Pilot in general.
Pilot: D
Violated. Yazan got VIOLATED! with completely neutered stats, a worthless Part Trait, and bad Word Tags. The meme will live on in our hearts, though.
Edited because the show is called Build Divers Re:RISE, not RE:Link. I was thinking of Digimon, woops! Oh and also the gunpla picture for Legalos was too tiny. Yes, I'm saying Legalos on purpose.
