PvE
Helga wants a lot of stats to do her job well, but she can also be kind of flexible based on what allies you can pair her with, especially since she can increase buff durations to make up for some of her weaknesses.
- Spd is always the most important. Stack as much Spd on Helga as possible, since she needs a lot of turns to handle all the jobs she's taken on.
- Critical Chance is the second most important, but Critical Chance also caps at 100%. Once Helga hits 100% Crit Chance -- which you may be able to do with just a few pieces of gear -- you don't need to worry about it anymore.
- Effectiveness is a no-brainer, since it helps her apply Defense Break.
- After this point, Helga needs enough survivability to stay alive and keep doing her job. If you have a strong tank and/or a strong healer (especially one that can apply Invincibility), then she may not need any HP% or Def% at all. If she keeps dying on you, though, then prioritize those stats next.
- Once Helga can stay alive, fill her remaining gear and substat slots with Crit Damage. Since she's going to be critting all the time anyway (100% Crit Chance, remember?) might as well make sure those critical hits can sting.
Warrior Artifacts aren't really the best choices for Helga, due to her odd role as more of a support unit than a DPS. She can take Durandal or El's Fist, which can help her get more turns, but she doesn't really want to take damage to activate them. Since she's already built 100% Crit Chance, she could try Uberius' Tooth, but she probably hasn't built Atk to increase its bonus damage.
Since you're probably bringing Helga for her Defense Break and buff extension rather than her damage or survivability, you might want to get her an Artifact that can give her more turns. Good choices are the 3★ standbys Labyrinth Cube or Ranon's Memorandum.
Finally, if you desperately need Helga to go up against Wyvern for some reason (or other Fire-element bosses), consider the Oath Key to help combat her elemental disadvantage.

Team

This is a bit of a strange setup, but it has some fun potential synergy. It doubles up on Helga's Defense Break (Rin) and Attack buff (Rose) so that Helga doesn't have as much pressure to keep both applied on her own. This gives Helga more room to focus on extending the duration of buffs instead.
- Rose is a good tank who can help cleanse ailments (which Rin can't do on her own). She also has an AOE Attack buff and even increases CR so the team in general (and Helga in particular) can take more turns.
- Guider Aither is a Mage and so can equip Tagehel's Ancient Book, giving Helga Souls to Soulburn for her S3 right from the start of the fight. He also has some bonus healing (since Rin's healing is weak), most of it from Continuous Healing, which Helga can extend.
- Rin is a lot of fun with Helga, since Rin causes random buffs that Helga can then extend. She also causes Defense Break and dispels buffs, and she can equip Celestine or Wondrous Potion Vial to give the team bonus survivability.
- And of course, Helga herself. In this team, Helga works as a multiplying force, taking what each of the other heroes does and producing more of it, either by doing it herself (Defense Break, Attack Up) or by extending their hard work.

Analysis
Overview
Helga may be one of the most underlooked 3★ heroes in Epic Seven. Her kit combines two of the most important parts of bosskilling -- Defense Break and an AOE Attack buff -- with the unique ability to extend the duration of buffs on herself or on the entire team. How does an extra turn of Immunity sound? Greater Attack Up? Revival? Invincibility? Combine this potent utility with blazing base Spd and a Speed-increasing Devotion Aura, and it should be easy to see why Helga is a hero you shouldn't be sleeping on.
Strengths
Spammable Defense Break
Having a hero with Defense Break is one of the most critical parts of any Epic Seven PvE boss fight. Helga doesn't have the highest activation chance on her Defense Break (50% at max Skill Enhancement is good but not great), but since she inflicts the debuff using her S1, she can spam it constantly with no cooldown.
AOE Attack Up
A teamwide Attack buff isn't quite as vital to bosskilling as Defense Break, but it's probably the second most important thing on the list. It is especially rare on Earth-element units. In fact, the only other Earth-element unit with an AOE Attack buff is Vivian, who is a 5★ hero in contrast to Helga's much more accessible 3★.
Increasing Buff Duration
This ability speaks for itself. Helga can increase the duration of her own AOE Attack buff, of course, but she can also increase the duration of any other buffs you might have available. Achates' Invincibility? Fallen Cecilia's barriers? Vivian's Immunity + Attack Up? Maid Chloe's Revival? Challenger Dominiel's increased Crit Chance? All fair game.
Good Base Spd + Speed Aura
Helga is quite fast considering how heavy that helmet of hers must be. Even better, she helps her allies move faster as well by increasing their Spd with her Devotion Aura (which is easy to max out, since she's a 3★ hero).
3★ Skill Enhancement
Helga desperately needs to Skill Enhance her S1 and S3 for the increased chance of Defense Break and the reduced cooldown (respectively). Fortunately, as a 3★ hero, she uses Stigma instead of Molagora for these Enhancements.
Weaknesses
Outshone by Specialists
Many heroes have a higher chance to apply Defense Break than Helga (in particular Falconer Kluri), and any hero who can grant an AOE Greater Attack Up instead of just a normal Attack Up (such as the aforementioned Vivian) is going to be more useful for the role than Helga. Having both utilities in one hero is good, but sometimes having two heroes who specialize in either utility is better. Especially because...
Can't Do Everything At Once
Helga can't apply Defense Break and Attack Up in the same turn. Since these two utilities combined are much more effective than having either one at a time, this means that Helga can't always increase the damage output of your team as efficiently as you might like. Heroes like Lots who can give her extra turns can help with this, but in most cases you'll still lose damage somewhere along the line.
Squishier than She Looks
Helga looks like she should be a hefty Viking of a character, filled with HP and attack power, but her Atk is only average and her HP and Def are very lackluster. She needs good gear or a lot of extra protection to keep playing her support role in boss battles.
Earth-Element
Being Earth-element isn't a bad thing in and of itself, but since Helga is more of a PvE bosskiller than a PvP Arena hero, it can be a downside. The two most important boss Hunts for a PvE unit to be good at are Wyvern (who is Fire) and Golem (who is Earth), and Helga is bad against the first and neutral against the second.
Requires Investment (and More)
To give her best performance, Helga needs a lot of Skill Enhancement, 100% critical hit chance, a lot of survivability, and (preferably) allies who apply very potent buffs she can extend. By the time you can give her all these resources, it's entirely possible that you'll have pulled some strong 5★ heroes who you'd rather invest in instead of Helga.
