High End PvP Cleave
PvP
The main idea with Judge Kise is to build her with ridiculous damage and a bit of Effectiveness. Her build isn't set in stone, as much of Judge Kise's strength is contingent on her supporting members. For example:
- When paired with Auxiliary Lots + Challenger Dominiel:
- Judge Kise can be built with no Speed and 88% Crit Chance, since Auxiliary Lots can CR-boost her to the top of the turn order and Challenger Dominiel gives 12.6% Crit Chance (if she has an SSS Devotion Imprint).
- When paired with Basar + Tywin:
- Judge Kise can be built with only 50% Crit Chance but needs to be fast enough to be boosted to the top by Tywin, since his CR push is only 30% (50% with the right exclusive equipment).
As we can see, everything is situational and should be tailored to maximize her results.
Gear
Since Judge Kise needs to focus on damage, a Destruction set is the best. For players who don't have one, an Attack set will do the job, but you really want high Crit Chance and Crit Damage for higher-level content.
Her secondary set should always be Immunity. Yes, it makes gathering 100% Crit Chance on her that much harder, but it will vastly improve her match-up against an Elbris Ritual Sword-wielding Fallen Cecilia, who is ubiquitous in high arena.
Artifacts
The go-to Artifact for any cleaver is the Guilty Gear collab artifact, Portrait of the Saints. For players who missed it, Exorcist's Tonfa is also serviceable. If available, Draco Plate can also be considered, since it will improve her matchup against counterattackers such as Martial Artist Ken.
Skill Enhancement
For newer players, Skill Enhancements are not as necessary since equipment amounts to much more damage. Starting from high Challenger and up, though, maxing out her opening combo (S2 and S3 both) is instrumental. Every percentage of damage matters when it comes to getting the upper hand on Arena teams in high Challenger.
If you have spare Molagoras (haha, pretty funny joke, right?) you can put them into her S1 just to increase her ability to close out her own battles.

Team

This is a pretty common Judge Kise cleave team, filled with heroes that complement Judge Kise and each other very nicely.
The key here is to have 20 Souls total between Auxiliary Lots and Challenger Dominiel. If you have a max-level Tagehel's, one Mage can equip it and the other can equip a different Artifact. Otherwise, both heroes need a Tagehel's. Watcher Schuri should have Sashe Ithanes to seamlessly thread your team's turns together.
It essentially plays out like this:
- Auxiliary Lots needs to outspeed the enemy and CR-boost Judge Kise with his S2.
- Judge Kise Soulburns her S2 and follows up with her S3. She should kill most of the enemies with a critical hit, boosting Challenger Dominiel to the top of the turn order next.
- Challenger Dominiel uses her S3 to boost her team and buff up for Crit Chance, then S1s with the damage Judge Kise's crits stocked up on her to finish off a surviving enemy.
- If any enemies are alive at this point (such as a very tanky Ruele of Light), Watcher Schuri's defense-penetrating S3 should be more than enough to finish them off.
PvP Utility
PvP
The goal of this build is to focus on the debilitating effects of Judge Kise's S3 instead of on the DPS of her S2 > S3 combo.
The most important stats to focus on are Effectiveness and Speed, since those will allow her to act before enemy heroes can stop her. In general, it’s best to prioritize positioning her for enabling teammates rather than using her as the focal point of the team.
Since this build doesn't rely on using Judge Kise's Soulburn, it's also the preferred build if you need/ want to use your Judge Kise in your Arena or Guild Wars Defense teams.
NOTE: Cursed Compass can also be used on Judge Kise when going first. However, in an Immunity meta, this can be counterproductive.

Team

The compositions that Judge Kise is able to fit into as a support are versatile. In general, you will want to shut down a priority hero on the enemy team after she uses her S3 to delay their cooldowns. You will also typically want to have heroes who can dispel the enemy in the event of Immunity sets, which will protect them from Judge Kise's S3.
This team uses Silver Blade Aramintha to Stun the enemy team and Hurado to dispel Immunity, especially with the CR-push from his S2 passive.

Since Judge Kise is so flexible, here is another team she would work into. Again, the main priority is having a unit who can dispel the enemy in order for Wave of Light (S3) to get around Immunity. In this case, we use Basar. Righteous Thief Roozid is a fast CR-pusher who pushes Basar and Judge Kise to act before the enemy team, and Challenger Dominiel adds even more CR-push along with a hefty chunk of DPS herself.

Analysis
Overview
Judge Kise is a Light-elemental 5★ Warrior with a loaded skillset. She is currently one of the most popular DPS for an AOE comp in high-end Arena Offense. Since the balance update in August 2019, her Soulburn changed into extra turn on her S2, End of Evil. This has made her the highest damaging AOE damage dealer and made her a good matchup against Arbiter Vildred, instantly skyrocketing her to be one of the best cleavers in Epic Seven.
Strengths
High-Damage Cleave
Not much needs to be said. Very high damage potential spread over 2 turns is what makes Judge Kise so good. It gives her a favorable matchup against Arbiter Vildred and any other annoying reviving DPS (i.e., cleave teams with Maid Chloe), which are very common in high-level PvP.
Self-Contained Combo
Aside from her massive damage, Judge Kise has an enormous amount of disabling power on her S3, which increases enemy skill cooldowns. Immunity can block this debuff from taking effect. However, Judge Kise's S2 has a 75% chance to dispel one buff from all enemies. Wipe Immunity buffs with her S2, Soulburn it for an extra turn, and follow up with her S3, effectively disabling enemies from fighting back at all.
Fits Most Meta Cleave Teams
Due to her prowess as both a DPS and disabling hero, Judge Kise can be used effectively in just about any Arena Offense team composition. Pairing her with other meta heroes -- perhaps an Auxiliary Lots + Challenger Dominiel combo, or a Basar + Tywin setup -- yields very good results.
Weaknesses
Requires Soulburn
Judge Kise requires 20 souls for her combo. You are basically forced to run her alongside a Mage with a max-level Tagehel's Ancient Book in order to make the most of her skillset. Furthermore, this makes her an iffy choice for PvP Defense, since she cannot use her Soulburn for her ideal combo when controlled by the A.I.
Frontloaded Skillset
The majority of Judge Kise's power is contained in her S2 > S3 combo. If the enemy team survives her combo, she will need other teammates to clean up what she started, especially since the cooldown on her S3 is very long, even after Skill Enhancement. (This also makes her very susceptible to Provoke, which blocks her combo and leaves her basically helpless.)
Has Counters in High Arena
Judge Kise has some very bad matchups in high-level Arena fights, in particular Martial Artist Ken and Fallen Cecilia. Unfortunately, these two heroes in particular are very common in high-level Arena, since they are so generally strong. These matchups can be mitigated, but it puts a strain on the slots used in a player's team.
