- DPS-Golem 11
Sick Burns
Golem 11
Khawazu is refreshing to build because he causes multiple debuffs, yet does not really need Effectiveness. This allows him to build for pure muscle on his substats instead, focusing on Atk%, Crit Chance, and Crit Damage -- and Spd, of course.
You have an interesting choice when it comes to his primary gear set. A Speed set is the obvious choice, but another good option is Counter. Since Khawazu is pretty slow anyway and all of Golem's attacks are AOE, you might get more mileage out of Countering Golem's hits, especially if that means applying a few extra stacks of Burn along the way.
Because Khawazu's HP is high but his Def is low, it's very easy for him to activate Artifacts that trigger when the user's HP is low, and a lot of these Artifacts are very helpful for him.
- El's Fist is one of Khawazu's best options. As his HP falls, his Atk and Spd increase by up to 50%. This not only increases his turn-to-turn performance, but also strengthens his Burns, since they are based on Atk.
- If you don't have El's Fist, Sword of Morning is a good budget option that also boosts his survivability.
There are 5★ Artifacts that are good for Khawazu as well, but they are also narrower in their focus than El's Fist, which sometimes makes them less ideal.
- Durandal increases Khawazu's CR when he gets hit, but not his power. It's good if you run a Speed set instead of Counter.
- Sigurd's Scythe, on the other hand, increases damage and offers lifesteal, but doesn't increase his speed, so it's better with Counter instead of Speed.
- Finally, Junkyard Dog is good if your team is focused entirely on Burn, as it essentially doubles Khawazu's chances of causing Burn without using Souls to do so.
Finally, make sure you use an Ego Fragment on Khawazu to switch his Devotion Aura to increasing his own Atk, which is almost always going to be more valuable for him and his Burn effects than the team HP aura.

Team

This is a Burn-centric Golem team that revolves around having Researcher Carrot detonate Khawazu and Serila's Burn debuffs for maximum damage before the Breeze Silva can cleanse them off the Golem.
- Khawazu is your source of Unhealable and, if equipped with a Counter set, should be able to lay down plenty of Burns.
- Serila is your source of Defense Break and also brings plenty of Burning to the table.
- Researcher Carrot is the main damage catalyst, detonating Khawazu and Serila's Burns with her S1.
- Achates heals and cleanses Golem's Defense Break. She may occasionally cause Attack Break, too, which can be helpful.

This is a much more budget team for taking on Golem with Khawazu. Khawazu continues to be a key player due to Unhealable, but here he's assisted by Helga, a 3★ hero who can easily spam Defense Break with her S1. In the backline, Nemunas keeps on top of the Golem's Defense Break with the cleanse from her S3, while Doris doles out healing and mitigates Golem's damage with her Hit chance debuff and her party Defense buff.

Analysis
Overview
Khawazu doesn't do anything particularly unique on his own, but he does bring several mechanics together in a way that can carve him a shallow niche in your lineup. Because he passively cleanses debuffs on himself with his S2 and causes Unhealable with his S3, he makes for a decent budget Golem fighter. On the other hand, if building a Burn-focused team with allies like Aramintha and Researcher Carrot, his ability to guarantee Burn on his S1 can be quite useful.
Strengths
Reliable Debuffer
Since Khawazu's S1 can be Soulburned to have a 100% chance of causing Burn and his S3 already has a 100% chance of causing Unhealable, Khawazu is a surprisingly effective debuffer who doesn't even need to build Effectiveness to make his debuffs stick.
Automatic Cleanse
Khawazu's most unique feature is being able to dispel all debuffs on himself without using up his turn through his S2, Composure. The move even buffs his Atk after triggering, leaving him stronger than he was before.
Free via Connection Quest
By far the biggest advantage of Khawazu is that he is a free Epic Seven hero, one who can be acquired through a Connection Quest. His Quest becomes available after completing Cidonia 2-10, which is about the time when new players might be starting to think about their higher-end Wyvern and Golem teams, so he's well-positioned to fit into a Golem composition for a player who lacks stronger options for the role.
Weaknesses
Slow
Khawazu is quite slow, which both reduces his overall DPS compared to the many faster Fire heroes and also makes it harder for him to maintain uptime on his debuffs.
Can't Trigger His Passive
Khawazu's cleanse/ Atk buff being locked to a passive is a positive because it means he doesn't use a turn to activate it, but it can also be a downside. The passive can trigger too early, before multiple enemies have finished their turns, and cleanse some debuffs only to leave Khawazu vulnerable to others. Alternately, Khawazu may get his turn after being debuffed but before his cleanse can activate, in which case he still has to act while debuffed.
Overlaps with Other Fire Heroes
Khawazu's biggest issue by far is that there are so many better options for his role. The Fire element is overflowing with heroes who cause Burn, Unhealable, and/or Atk buffs, and many of those heroes have lots of additional utility that Khawazu lacks. To take just one example, Aramintha can do everything that Khawazu can (except cleanse her own ailments) but she can do it in an AOE, plus she can cause Stun.
