CR Push Initiator Schuri
PvP
Since this is the most common way he is used, let's examine how we can achieve this with early-mid game gear.
He is needed to be built with 100% Crit Chance, which can guarantee his CR push. After that, he will needed to be build with as much Speed as possible in order for him to outspeed other initiators.
After that is considered, simply fill up the rest of his substats with Effectivess (to make his CR reduction in Rifle Shot more reliable) and damage stats to pad out his usefulness when possible.
If players are very early in terms of gear progression and have issues with reaching 100% Crit Chance, another option to consider might be Midnight Bloom. This not only gives Schuri the Crit Chance he desperately needs, but also provides his team with the stat, opening up more options to build their gears.

Analysis
Overview
Schuri is a 4★ Fire Hero who specializes in CR pushing off of a Critical hit. He is one of the more accessible CR pushers due to him being in Covenant Summoning, and among the most versatile since he can establish a good tempo with his passive, Explosive Gentleman. Schuri is a solid initiator for PvP fights since he can not only grant CR, but also push back enemies with his ultimate, Rifle Shot/Full Burst. He is commonly found in early-mid game Arena since his utility falls off a bit compared to some of the rarer Moonlight PvP initiators.
Strengths
Versatile
With the CR push built into his passive, Explosive Gentleman, Schuri is a solid initiator for PvP and can build momentum in Golem and Raid. Compared to endgame initiators such as Sage Baal & Sezan, Schuri helps early-mid game players clear a much wider variety of content.
Strong Imprint
Schuri has one of the best imprints in the game, Speed. He even has it as a 2 slot, which means as a 4★ unit he can grant 14 speed to members on his back and upper slot. This is helpful for players who are transitioning from mid to late game units since it not only boost an initiator by 14 speed, it can also shift Schuri into a secondary initiator to bridge the gap between an ultra-fast initiator and the rest of a player's team.
Access to Ranger Artifacts
Ranger have some of the best supporting and utility Artifacts in the game, and players can pick and choose according to a team’s needs. A Schuri with Song of Stars can target debuff enemy team’s key heroes, enabling players to burst them down. A Schuri in PvE settings can run Rosa Hargana to repeatedly push up the team and gain focus very quickly. This can easily hasten the team's turn cycling and pepper the enemy with damage and poison debuffs.
Weaknesses
Falls Off Late Game
Due to the straightforward nature of Schuri's boost, lack of other utilities, and sub-optimal base Speed, players often opt out of Schuri in favor of other Heroes in end game scenarios that require more base speed or overall utility.
Unremarkable Damage
Due to his best role being initiator, he will need to be built with abundant Speed and Crit Chance, without regard of Attack or Crit Damage. This means and early-mid game player will have to invest of their best Speed/Crit chance gear in him-- gear that could go on other DPS heroes-- while getting a unit that does okay damage at best.
Fire Unit in Ice Meta
Due to the PvP Meta currently being very Ice dominant, Schuri will have some disadvantageous matchups in arena and guild wars. Since he will have a 50% miss chance against ice units, this means 50% of the time he won’t Crit and fails his initiation. Players opting to use Schuri must be wary never to pick him into a full ice team for this reason.
