Abyss Raid Boss Specialist
Abyss
As previously mentioned, we want to build Sol around his ability to remove chunks of HP off of bosses at a time, so having as much Crit Chance and Crit Damage is vital. That being said, Sol has very solid base attack and great base speed for a warrior, so we would ideally want to put him on a speed set, and have as much attack to back up his already solid damage.
As for artifacts, since our whole build centers around HP% damage, we can just put Daydream Joker on him and it would be good enough. If the bosses hit a bit too hard, maybe a Draco Plate can help increase his survivability while boosting his damage.

Analysis
Overview
Sol is a welfare 5★ fire warrior earned during the Guilty Gear collab. He’s a top tier fire DPS used almost exclusively for PvE purposes due to his damage scaling from enemy HP%. Due to the enemy max HP% damage being very powerful against the huge HP pool of abyss bosses, Sol is one of the best options available to new players for this purpose. Outside of this Sol can be used to auto Golem 11 and can be used to clear raid.
In terms of PvP, Sol was briefly used by some players as a counter to the Iseria/Tamarinne combo. But due to it being weak to other forms of cleave, Sol is has not seen much action in PvP since.
Strengths
Enemy Max HP% Damage
This is the hallmark trait of Sol, having 2 forms of this damage in his S2, Volcanic Viper, and his S3, Tyrant Rave ver. Beta. With this scaling the higher the enemy’s HP pool, the better he can outperform his peers. Since we want to build around this, we want to build sol around multiplying this damage through his critical strikes and speed so he can rotate the cooldown of these abilities faster.
Extra Turn Mechanic
Since his extra turn is generated every 5 times Sol lands a crit with his S1, Gunflame, he synergizes very well with other heroes who can often proc his dual attack such as Lilias or Tamarinne, who is Sol’s default partner in crime. Activating Sol’s extra turn will boost his damage output and reset his cooldown quick and often, making short work of usually long drawn out boss fights.
Self-Contained Synergy
Since his S1 scales off of enemies having no buffs, it’s almost too perfect that his ultimate will not only dispel buffs but also apply a ‘unable to be buffed’ debuff on the enemy, making him cover a wide role in a bossing team.
Weaknesses
Little Usage in PvP
Sol’s kit and his power in PvE utilities means that in PvP he can be quite subpar, since max HP% damage against enemy heroes doesn’t scale as well.
Hard Countered by Certain Bosses
Sol’s debuffs in his skillset are sometimes a drawback, for example against Abyss 90, where the boss monster will gain CR while attacked when debuffed. Mechanics like this makes Sol’s usually good kit a detriment in those cases and calls for a substitution.
