GamePress Recommendations

The best place to farm Bellmice for Roozid's Specialty Change quest is Stage 4-4. There are 29 Bellmice enemies on this stage, which makes it very easy to hit the 500 kill count.

Shiny Enchantment Catalysts can be forged in the Sanctuary as long as the player has built a 0-3-0 Alchemist's Steeple. They can also be farmed in various stages. The best places to farm Shiny Enchantments are:

  • Cidonia 1S (Pupuran Ruins), Stage 1S-10 (Trail of Souls). Enemies here drop Shiny Enchantments, and the AP Exchange also has Shiny Enchantments for sale.
  • If you haven't unlocked Cidonia yet, farm Stage 5-4 (Silver Monarch Hall). Again, the enemies here drop the Catalysts, while they are also for sale in the Dun Blyraia AP Exchange.

This leaves only the 30 Powders of Knowledge, which you can only get by selling Artifacts. (There are rare cases where Hunts, World Boss, and other content can reward you with Powders of Knowledge, but these are not reliable methods. Still, it is worth noting.)

Advice on Trial Battle

After killing so many Bellmice, you will find yourself teaming up with them for this very specific Trial Battle. Roozid and two Mighty Scouts engage in battle against Cartuja and two Mercenary Magicians.

  • Use Roozid's S3 every time it is off cooldown, since it will increase his Spd and therefore his damage. Soulburning it is even better, as that gives him an extra turn.

At the start of the battle, have one Mighty Scout use its S2 on one of the Mercenary Magicians. The Magicians have a permanent Defense buff, but the Mighty Scout S2 ignores Defense. Then have the other Mighty Scout use its S2 on the other Magician. This will leave both Magicians one attack away from death, allowing you to defeat them in the next turn.

From there, simply focus all your attacks on Cartuja. Use all your S2s whenever they come off cooldown, spam Roozid's S3 for extra turns and DPS, and hope Cartuja gets debuffed by Roozid's S1 and S2. You might lose one Mighty Scout, but don't give up. When you've won the battle, Roozid will now Specialty Change!

Overall Change

Roozid's Specialty Change turns him into a speed demon who is much-sought after in PvP. He is an amazing defensive and support unit with enormous utility, in particular with the CR push on his S3. He also has a lot of survivability, between his passive evasion, his continuous healing buff, and his multiple enemy debuffs. In short, Righteous Thief Roozid is a very strong ally who is well worth the effort to Specialty Change.
