Deflect Magic only works on Tome users?
While I did upgrade deflect magic specifically for tome users, I placed it on Arden who gets doubled by everything and was surprised to see both Breath and Staff attacks (correct me if I'm wrong) dealt full dmg on the second attack even tho they are considered magic attacks. The Seal says Magic and not tomes, if anyone could confirm this for me id be really appreciated

It only works on consecutive attacks, I think. So it's not enough to get doubled, you have to get doubled without countering between the attacks.
So if Arden attacks Nowi (Arden > Nowi > Nowi) and gets doubled, the second+ attack should be reduced. But if Nowi attacks Arden, (Nowi > Arden > Nowi) then Arden always takes full damage.
I know it doesn't sound logical, but magic means only tomes by FEH logic. Also keep in mind that the attacks have to be consecutive. Sigurd suffers from a similar defect with his divine sword skill - it says 50% dmg reduction from the first magic hit, but dragons hit with full force. Staff users are also not magic.
