  • This build is designed to maximize SM Eirika’s general offensive capabilities across all game modes. More specialized Aether Raids builds will likely work better in that mode, but this build is still workable for Aether Raids nevertheless.
  • The refined Gleipnir provides SM Eirika with a lot of bonuses whenever who she is attacking starts combat at full health, including giving herself more offensive stats, debuffing the opponent in all stats, and nullifying debuffs on herself. Rauðrblade remains a solid option as well. In either case, using Glimmer or Moonbow is advised due to their short cooldowns.
  • For an offensive build, SM Eirika already comes with two excellent skills: Swift Sparrow 2 and Desperation. These increase her offensive stats when attacking and allow her to perform any follow-up attack immediately when at 75% HP or below. Swift Sparrow 3 is a flat upgrade over Swift Sparrow 2 but not strictly necessary. Atk/Spd Solo and Fury (3 and 4) make great alternative A slot skills.
  • Joint Hone Atk or Joint Hone Spd allows SM Eirika to support not only her allies but also herself with a strong offensive boost in either Attack or Speed. If she’s alongside other cavaliers, any of the Cavalry Buff skills such as Hone Cavalry will make for a great option.
  • Swift Sparrow is the perfect Sacred Seal for an offensive set, granting a strong offensive boost when SM Eirika initiates combat. Heavy Blade is also an equally strong option when used with Gleipnir, as it will let her charge Moonbow or Glimmer in a single hit if it activates. Death Blow and Darting Blow are also great options if Swift Sparrow is unavailable.

  • This build is designed specifically for use in Aether Raids when attacking. The primary skill choices are intended to maximize SM Eirika’s ability to survive opponents. Ideally, this build should be used alongside Mythic Heroes that boost Resistance, such as Eir.
  • Refined Gleipnir’s ability to mitigate debuffs on SM Eirika, on top of the already existing offensive buffs for herself and debuffs for the opposition, makes it a valuable weapon in Aether Raids. One will need to take caution to not deal chip damage to the defending team however, as SM Eirika’s effectiveness falls drastically against opponents not at full HP.
  • The combination of Close Foil, Mystic Boost, and the Steady Posture Sacred Seal all add to SM Eirika’s defensive capabilities. She’ll be able to counter physical melee opponents, give herself good stat boosts on Enemy Phase, heal herself after every round of combat, and negate skills that target the lower defensive stat.
    • If one is concerned about fighting dragon foes, Close Counter remains an excellent option for this build. If retaliating against physical foes is not of concern, Atk/Spd Solo can make for an effective option for greater offensive capabilities.
    • Vantage is a good alternative to Mystic Boost that can potentially save SM Eirika’s life if the opponent would defeat her otherwise, but one has to be wary of opponents with Hardy Bearing. Dull Ranged is another good B slot option for negating buffs on opposing ranged foes.
    • If the Steady Posture Sacred Seal is unavailable, any Stance would be a strong alternative choice.
  • Glimmer and Noontime both make for effective Special choices. Both on two charge cooldowns, Glimmer will aid SM Eirika greatly with her damage dealing capabilities while Noontime can help with her ability to sustain combat.
  • Pulse Smoke makes for the ideal C slot so SM Eirika can counteract defense teams utilizing skills such as Infantry Pulse to achieve immediate Specials. If Pulse Smoke is unavailable, then the other Smoke skills such as Atk Smoke make for strong options as well.

Strengths

Gleipnir

Gleipnir is SM Eirika’s exclusive tome. At base, this weapon grants her with +3 Resistance and grants +3 Attack/Speed when fighting a foe at full HP. While the base version is highly underwhelming, the refined version boosts the default bonus up to +4 Attack/Speed, as well as allows her to debuff the opponent for -4 Atk/Spd/Def/Res and nullify the effects of any penalties on herself.

This tome has a lot of benefits so long as one can ensure SM Eirika is only fighting foes at full HP. This is a relatively easy requirement for most content outside of Aether Raids and Abyssal Hero Battles. Even within Aether Raids, smart play can allow one to make full use of this tome’s power.

Good Offensive Capabilities

SM Eirika comes with 31 Attack and 35 Speed. While her Attack stat is on the far low end for red mages, her Speed is on the higher end. With offensive help, primarily from Gleipnir, SM Eirika can nevertheless become highly potent when used offensively.

Cavalry Mobility

As a cavalry unit, SM Eirika possesses a natural movement range of 3. This high movement can potentially allow SM Eirika to reach locations other units cannot, granting her greater flexibility in the way she can approach battles.

Weaknesses

Gleipnir’s HP requirement

The amount of bonuses this tome gives SM Eirika is substantial, but it is limited by the requirement to have foes at full HP. This can be most notable in Aether Raids, where chip damage from structures such as the Bolt Tower and Bolt Trap can cause her to lose out on all of those bonuses. Without them, SM Eirika loses a lot of her power.

Terrain Vulnerability

While SM Eirika gets to enjoy the movement range of 3, she also needs to contend with being completely incapable of passing through forests and being slowed down by trenches. This can prove to be detrimental on certain maps where such terrain might prevent SM Eirika from reaching where she needs to be.
