  • This set is all about taking advantage of Heath's well-rounded statline to push all of his stats higher and turn him into a flying statball.
  • With a +SPD refined Tannenboom! and Fury 4, Heath winds up with 40/55/42/39/33 as his statline during the Enemy Phase. Ideally, he would get merges and buffs to further enhance his stats, but this isn't a bad place to start.
  • With the recoil damage from Fury 4, Heath will quickly enter the threshold for Brazen skills, Vantage, and Desperation. Whether you want to use him during Player Phase (Desperation and Brazen Atk/Spd) or Enemy Phase (Vantage) is up to you.
  • This build can also work with a Slaying Lance, where some extra stat stacking is traded off for a higher damage Bonfire Special.

Sacred Seal: Close Def / Quick Riposte

  • This build takes basically the only unique thing about Heath - his moderate, balanced Defense and Resistance stats - and turns them into his greatest strength, turning him into a formidable close combat specialist
  • You can go two ways when looking to make Heath into a tank: focusing on his Defense and Resistance, which utilizes Fort Def/Res and a Resistance refine on the Guard Lance for a 45 Defense / 43 Resistance defensive bulk... or focusing on Defense and Speed, which allows him to run a Slaying Lance due to Steady Posture's built-in Guard. The former leaves him vulnerable to being doubled by his opponents, but with only 39 Speed after Steady Posture, he's not immune to being doubled there either, and he's more vulnerable to dragons.
  • Running a Slaying Lance does allow Heath to use Ignis as his Special which makes him hit notably harder (particularly without the Attack debuff on Fort. Def/Res as well).
  • Mystic Boost can keep Heath topped up while he's tanking and makes him even more difficult to take down if your opponent cannot end him quickly.
  • Threat. Atk/Def is a great skill to help him finish off his enemies who couldn't defeat him during his next Player Phase.

Strengths

Balanced Stats

Heath has one of the more balanced stat spreads for a lance flier which allows him a lot of build flexibility. Stat stacking with Heath can enable him to be formidable on the battlefield, as he has no clear weakness.

Of all the blue lance fliers, Heath has the most combined Def+Res, making him a decent choice for a tank.

Free

Being a free unit, Heath is easy to acquire and can benefit newer players who don't have access to a better lance flier right away.

Weaknesses

Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V

Heath joins the myriad of blue lance fliers - and blue lance GHB fliers - with extremely similar underwhelming stat spreads and no prf weapon.

It's very difficult to make him stand out in a crowd, as he does not have many strengths when compared to his peers.

As such, there is very little reason to use him over a unit like Cordelia (for an offensive lance flier with higher Speed and Attack) or Subaki (for a bulky flier with higher Defense and Speed), or Est (for a bulky flier with higher Res and Attack), all of which are in the three star pool, have prfs of their own, and do not cost valuable grails.
