  • +SPD: A Speed asset is also a good choice as it increases her consistency in performing follow-up attacks.

Neutral

  • RES: Rebecca’s resistance is fairly middling, but it’s best left neutral to preserve her magical bulk.

Flaws

  • -HP/-DEF: HP and DEF are unimportant to Rebecca’s overall performance, and both are Rebecca’s ideal choice of flaw.

Preferred IV: +ATK or +SPD / -DEF or -HP

  • Rebecca prefers to increase her raw damage output or her ability to perform follow-up attacks with an Attack or Speed asset respectively. Flaws in HP and Defense are ideal as they impact Rebecca’s performance the least.

Weapon: Rebecca’s Bow(+EFF)

  • Gifted with a new exclusive weapon via the weapon refinery, Rebecca’s exclusive bow is a Slaying weapon that can be refined to grant her a +4 increase to all of her stats, provided she has a visible buff active. This allows Rebecca to shore up her initially lackluster damage output and perform better as an offensive archer.

Assist: Reposition / Preference

Special: Luna

  • Luna is Rebecca’s best choice of Special due to its reliable damage output(especially on High defense foes) and reasonably short cooldown, made even faster by Rebecca’s Slaying weapon.

Passive A: Sturdy Impact / Swift Sparrow 2 or 3 / Fury 3 or 4

  • Sturdy Impact is one of Rebecca’s most powerful A slot options, granting her +6 Attack and +10 Defense as well as follow-up attack prevention when she initiates combat, allowing Rebecca to worry much less about enemy counterattacks.

  • Swift Sparrow 3 is another powerful A slot for a Player Phase centric build, granting a massive boost to both Attack and Speed with no downside. Swift Sparrow 2 is also usable on a budget, although not as strong. 

  • Fury is also a decent alternative on a budget, as it allows Rebecca to set up HP threshold skills easier while still providing a boost to her offensive capabilities.

Passive B: Lull Spd/Def / Desperation / Chill Def

  • Lull Spd/Def allows Rebecca to cut the Defense and Speed of foes by 3 in addition to negating their Speed and Defense buffs, improving Rebecca’s offensive presence further.

  • Desperation is also a good choice if Swift Sparrow or Fury is being used, as it allows Rebecca to attack twice before the foe can counter as long as its HP threshold is met, allowing Rebecca to avoid otherwise lethal counterattacks.

  • Finally, Chill Defense debuffs the Defense of the foe with the highest Defense by 7, allowing Rebecca and her team to more easily KO the afflicted foe.

Passive C: Even Atk Wave / Preference

  • Even Atk Wave grants an Additional +6 boost to Rebecca’s Attack on Even turns, giving her another much needed boost to her damage output. It also allows Rebecca to Rebecca’s C slot is primarily dependent upon the needs of the team, however.

Sacred Seal: Swift Sparrow / Sturdy Blow / Brazen Atk/Spd

  • Swift Sparrow is one of the best sacred seals available for Player Phase units, as it grants a considerable boost to both Attack and Speed when initiating.

  • The Sturdy Blow sacred seal is a good alternative if a Defense increase is preferred over Speed.

  • Finally, Brazen Atk/Spd can be used to provide a massive offensive boost, although meeting its HP requirement can be difficult without the use of Fury.

Preferred IV: +ATK / -DEF

  • For a defensive build, Rebecca still prefers to boost her raw offensive power with an Attack asset to secure KO’s. Defense is the ideal flaw as it affects her overall bulk the least, and Rebecca prefers to keep her other stats in tact.

Weapon: Rebecca’s Bow(+EFF)

  • Rebecca’s exclusive bow also works well defensively, as decreased Special cooldown and a +4 buff to all stats as long as she has a visible buff active helps her greatly during Enemy Phase.

Assist: Reposition / Preference

Special: Luna / Aether

  • Luna remains a fantastic choice of special as it gives Rebecca an easier time breaking through bulkier foes when it activates, while also sporting a reasonably fast cooldown.

  • Aether can also be used if self healing is desired, but this comes at the cost of an incredibly long cooldown.

Passive A: Distant Def 4 / Mirror Stance 3

  • Distant Defense 4 grants Rebecca a massive +9 boost to her Defense and Resistance in addition to the effect of Dull Ranged when attacked by long range foes, allowing Rebecca to tank ranged damage much easier.

  • Mirror Stance 3 is also an excellent choice, as it provides a massive boost to Rebecca’s Resistance and Attack in addition to the Guard effect, which lets Rebecca counter Special reliant foes more effectively while also improving her damage output on Enemy Phase.

Passive B: Null C Disrupt / Mystic Boost / Quick Riposte

  • Null C Disrupt allows Rebecca to guarantee her counterattacks, even against foes who have counterattack nullifying skills such as Firesweep and Dazzling Staff.

  • Mystic Boost grants Rebecca some much appreciated self healing by restoring 6 of her HP after combat, while also nullifying adaptive damage and Wrathful Staff, although in most scenarios countering and KOing the Staff user with Null C Disrupt would be preferable.

  • Finally, Quick Riposte can be used on a budget to guarantee Follow-ups during Enemy Phase.

Passive C: Even Atk Wave / Preference

  • Wave skills synergize well with Rebecca’s exclusive weapon, as they allow her to trigger its effect without relying as much on support from allies. If the team is already able to provide her with buffs, her C slot can be changed according to the team’s needs.

Sacred Seal: Distant Def / Swift Stance

  • Distant Def makes for an excellent choice of Sacred Seal, increasing her Defenses significantly when attacked at range.

  • Swift Stance is a decent alternative to increase Rebecca’s Speed and Resistance during Enemy Phase.

Strengths

Infantry

As an infantry unit, Rebecca has access to a wide variety of powerful skill options, such as Null C Disrupt and Special Spiral. She also lacks weaknesses to any effective weaponry, aside from the rarely used Poison Dagger.

Rebecca’s Bow

Rebecca’s exclusive weapon grants her the Slaying effect in addition to a +4 bonus to all stats when she has a visible buff active, making her initially underwhelming damage output much more adequate with its effect active.

Weaknesses

Susceptibility to Panic

Rebecca’s middling HP and reliance on visible buffs leaves her ripe for the picking by foes who frequently utilize Panic Ploy, such as Effie and Nowi. It also makes her incredibly weak to foes with Sudden Panic, and Panic towers in AR.

Lackluster Stats Outside of Speed

Aside from her decent Speed, Rebecca’s statline leaves much to be desired. Her lackluster Attack leaves her hard pressed to damage bulkier foes without an Attack asset, while Rebecca’s mediocre Defenses give her a bad time taking more than one hit without a defensive build. While her exclusive weapon helps with her lacking statline when a visible buff is active, it leaves her incredibly underwhelming should she be unable to receive buffs.
